Its interesting how ScrapMan reffers to the robot as "Me" when its working correctly, but "It" when its failing haha

The last block on the prongs closest to the ground should be either a wedge or rounded corner instead of a full square block. That should allow your vehicle to get through those ramps easier.

I finished the last level yesterday... I wish you the best of luck for Level 18 and level 19. (I completely overengineered my bot for level 19.)

I'm pretty sure that the reason your bot for the second challenge "gave up" for a bit was because the ball was rolling to the side and the ball was no longer in range of the sensor. Every time the ball rolled sideways the blue sensor stopped triggering and the bot started moving forwards again.
