Their mood swings are so intense, they either love you or hate you, there's no in between, they have no loyalty either

They only regret leaving you until they get you back, then they treat you even worse than before. It's almost like they have such low self esteem, they feel anyone who loves them must be worthless too. They are always looking for someone to enhance their own self esteem, but it's only a matter of time they seem to rationalize that if that person actually loves them, then they are worthless, by reason of the very fact they love the (worthless) narcissist. Am I making sense here? The only time he was wonderful to me was when he thought he had lost me, (which gave me value). As soon as I took him back, the devaluing and abuse started all over again.

They often feel good because of the supply - then discard you or drive you away whilst feeling arrogant and confident- then realise how bad they feel without the supply.

Sooo TRUE.,was married to a narcissist for 28yrs and discarded me for new supply, left her to go on to more new supply, every relationship he has in last 16 years seems to fall apart, he has had dozens of supply he definitely thinks grass is greener on the other side.

Love the Phoenix Rising Image! Thats me! My husband of 12 years shacked up with the secretary from his work. Impulsive Coward. Good luck on that lasting, even if it does, cheating will be the foundation 😈 The Grass is green where the fuck you nurture it. I was stability & true, he didn't appreciate that so she deserves him since she also knew he is married. It takes 2 and since he had the vows, hes more at fault

They do have an innate talent for making their problems someone else's. It's incredible really - I look back over messages and think "Why the hell did I get drawn into that?" - silly things like they've got drunk and need money for a taxi, or they need to pay a bill, or they're stuck in the carpark cos they don't have enough money to pay the ticket..... on and on. Usually it was the middle of the night when I just wanted to get some sleep and had to get up for work the next day. But that never came into the equation - it was all about getting their needs met, nothing else.

And the gaslighting and inconvenience they cause by the middle of the night behaviors are also fuel for them. I so appreciate when you stated, "They do have an innate talent for making their problems someone else's."

It's a powerful allure, to feel needed. We think there's love behind it but when we aren't needed anymore - discarded like an object.

There's a part of me that thinks they never regret anything. If they discard you, then they have turned you black in their mind. Of course, we can always wonder if in the deep recesses if they truly know.

I feel like many narcissists tend to win at life. Maybe not in really old age but they typically make at least some decisions right because they care heavily about how they look to others. So they will more likely fall into line with expectations even if they have to dupe other people to achieve this. I feel I was narcissistic in my youth but felt little pressure to conform to societal norms, did not care much what others thought of me, only to a small degree, but it was not a good thing and caused regret.

Beautiful pictures, a calm soothing voice, and awesome content. I wonder if the narc in my life regrets dumping me. I will never know because I went no contact with them after the dump. I have moved on but I understand they had been contacting someone close to me asking about me so maybe they do regret it. I will never know

My Ex discarded me the day after her Ex died... They were together 2 months a year ago... I told her that I'm here for her if she needs anything. 2 weeks later - she's trying to vilify me on Social Media... She's convinced I've wronged her or manipulated her. Her Ex died... I literally did nothing. I have no idea why she's getting angrier with me as time goes... I don't chase....

@shirleyvanderheijden5934 maybe. I definitely wouldn't dump my girlfriend & create a smere campaign against her on Social Media tho. I've been told Cluster Bs don't know where their pain is coming from. So I'm assuming she blamed the closest person to her for the death of her Ex.
