Wow... just... wow... I’m at a loss. This is just so.. so amazing. There’s so many great things in this video... it’s just amazing. The way you slowly became more emotional and emotionless (that didn’t make sense idc) throughout the entire video.. I could feel every single emotion, even the ones I couldn’t place a name on. The choice of colors and paint were chosen beautifully, and choosing to do this type of video was a huge leap from what you normally do. It may sound weird but... I can see myself in this video. I don’t even know how some things link up but it feels like they do. The way you were sort of happy at the beginning is like how I start out my days thinking life’s gonna be okay, but I’m already on the floor, vulnerable to anything. Then, life pours the first cup of paint on me. Something happened. Throughout the first part of the video you’re putting cups of paint on your head, I can see how in my life I’ll blame myself for something that happened so I just keep pouring and pouring more sorrow (the paint) over me. In the second part of the video you’re spreading the paint around your body and your face and your clothes, I can see how when I could very easily just go over to a sink and clean myself off, I spread the sorrow, I bathe in it, even though what happened was never my fault to begin with. By the end of the video, your emotions are mixed, depending on what you focus on. You seem happy, but you stare deep in your eyes and see the pain. That’s me. I put on a face and smile and laugh off things that people bring up, but deep down I’m always reminded of things that happened and things I’ve done. The paint is still all over me, all because I stayed in one place, vulnerable. I’m sorry, this is just a very beautiful video and a beautiful cover. Your voice fits perfectly with the song and honestly I felt more emotion (and fell further in love) watching this than hearing the original song. That’s when you know you did something right. Hands down my favorite cover and video EVER. I’m very happy I jumped on the Sapphire train, I will never regret it. You’re songs can both help me get pumped, relax, and one day probably make me cry. Not very many artists can make me feel the way that you do. Amazing job, Saph. Never stop doing what you do. ❤️💖🎨🎊🖤
