They got it right in S11. I believe this is the direction now. They got the show back to its roots a teacher/mountie. It's different with Nathan having a different personality than Jack. Also, Nathan raising Allie. We will get them married eventually & Elizabeth as Nathan's wife & Jack Jr. will complete a blended family! There is no going backwards as some on TL hope. Only forward to the heart & roots of WCTH.

Nathan is the hero of this story. He has saved her life 2 times now. He loves Elizabeth and they both bring out the best in each other. She MATTERS to him. They spend family moments, quiet moments and lots of getting to know you moments together. He loves and is good with baby Jack. She loves Allie. Love how she flirts with him like with the frosting and then at the school with the sleepover request. Its evident they have been showing the viewers a slow building relationship leading to a Grant family!

I don't think so. LUCAS AND ELIZABETH BELONG TOGETHER. LUCAS IS TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH HER AND DOES THINGS FOR HER THAT SHE WOULD LIKE. HE THINKS ABOUT HER FEELINGS FIRST.

Yep agree and the way she looks at Lucas is because she loves him but Nathan she looks at him as a friend .

She is always seeking out Nathan and way more concerned about Nathan’s feelings than Lucas and let’s not forget how season 7 ended. Brian Bird himself even said “hug heard around the World”

I have a new favorite character from this past season. It's Nathan. Even things were very difficult for him this pat season, he handled it in a very respectful manner. Good job to the actor! Good luck to all of them who are still on the show as I move on! I'm sorry. My heart just isn't in it anymore. Sorry. treated

I love there connection its like Elizabeth and Jack romance. Slow and steady. Nathan's already a father and protective of Elizabeth and little Jack. Im holding my breathe but at the end I think she will end up with Nathan.

@@gracehicks726 Yes I know I should have clarified that he is filling the role of father even though he is her uncle. Obviously doing better than her biological as he walked away from Allie. Love that Nathan is man enough to take on this responsibility it show great character and a deep capacity to love.

@@gracehicks726 Nathan is now Allie's adoptive father. But Nathan will always be Allie's birth uncle. Allie calls her uncle Nathan, "dad" now.
