I think they still hit, look at the dmg numbers a bit under his chest there are dmg numbers coming from his ,,legs“ and he still get the stacks for his LFR

​@__NORO__ hard to say for sure but I'd half to assume that the grenades still missed. The numbers you see are because the Euphony causes thredlings to spawn on target location

I don’t think it even matters it’s just being thrown to boost the damage of the raid exotic

Only some hit, def needs to aim higher and if by some miracle they hit way down below the DMG is going to be way less than if he aimed higher and did crits instead. W/e tho, in the end it's all about staying alive and when you're in these situations it can be hard to stay level headed when you're sliding to the left and hopping around lol

the lines on the ground tell you and the second one is always on the opposite side of the first attack. and you can tell when you jump based on his hands

@@seanallen9 I remember seeing a video of a 6 man warlock team with euphony one phasing the witness. Granted that video was recorded during strand surge, but even then they should still do a lot of damage. Also there's only one hunter on the team according to the title, so unless the remaining 4 are straight up ass, the hunter should only be doing 1/4 to 1/3 of the damage.

Of course it didnt replace strand, strand is broken. I do think that casually prismatic is most powerful because if you dont understand how to or dont want to make a build, prismatic is almost always the best option

You occasionally see the grenade damage numbers at the very bottom of the screen when he looks down a bit and you can see the spindle buff stacking up. The grenades are hitting

The point of the grenade is to get the spindle buff as high as possible. Hitting the boss is like cherry on top.

@@OthersideSparrow Yes, but no. Like a very big part of the damage is coming from the threadlings, especially when he is on strand and probably on the fragment that buffs threadling damage. Also he ddnt even shot much even with the Spindle buff at 25x stacks so he coulda got more damage using a normal linear. The whole point of the linear is to use the whole reserves while on spindle 25x, so reaching the number but then shooting 3 or 4 times isnt doing much

That only takes effect next week. In this clip he's not using any stasis or arc weapons hence the 'no surge' comment

Im sure you could but youd have to aim a lot more bc u have to aim way up with cataphract and then back down with the linear. Not to mention surges are going away like next week or smthn so it doesnt matter anymore

​@@Bitter765Because running surges in your legs to maximize damage is actually risky just to pump up your weekly surge even more. With the surges gone, people can use more survivability mods in the legs, like better already, not to mention kinetic damage is getting buffed. I guess this is the beginning of the Microcosm era.
