While I'm on the side of Heimerdinger safe proofing Hextech in general, I completely sympathize with Viktor's cause. The whole reason Viktor is sick is because of the terrible gases from the under city. And now they are currently using his accomplishments to better the rich folks for their trade imports. He's not going to live long enough to know if his research will reach the people who need it the most, at the bottom where he originally came from. That really sucks for him.

The crazy art that flares when Jinx is on-screen depicts her PTSD and anxiety fueling her decline into madness. This is what she constantly sees. Everyone is a monster. Some of the faces she sees haunting her are those she has killed or watched die. Family. Friends. It's also worth mentioning, that people that suffer from similar trauma as Jinx also experience similar episodes in real life. I am a graduate of psychology. While studying, I learned there are quite a few mental illnesses that can cause such visions. PTSD being the most obvious. Especially for my brothers and sister in the military whose PTSD gets too far out of hand. While Riot neon'd it up with the art, their depiction is quite spot on. While I love Jinx as a character, she also represents what happens when mental illness isn't properly cared for. Or worse, made to fester and become worse. While some people have said they hate Jinx while watching the series, you need to understand that her minds been thrown through the ringer since she was little. Seeing her parents die on that bridge during the initial uprising scared her and it just got worse from there. You might feel you want to hate her more in the next 3 episodes, but understand that she's suffering.

By the way, the girl at the beginning, Sky, is definitely the girl that's into him later. The characters name is Sky Young.

Honestly my favorite character on this show is Jinx. She has a lot of development in my opinion. All she wanted to do is help her family but every time she helps it just backfire on her. I can relate to that because I have the worst luck in the world and having no one to help and understand that you are just trying to do what’s right but just doesn’t work out. So naturally of course you say fuck the world and become better at what you apparently are good at. Plus….she’s pretty hot now and a badass. Her character design is also just 🔥🔥
