So sad but true☹️😔.. we are judged upon our skin everyday and it’s so unfair. Then the first thing they tell us is “it’s not about color” that’s a lie.. I’m guilty to you because I am black.. but that’s ok too because I’m proud!✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽

"Black" is a social identifier, same as "Latino". This gives the Caucasian a way to hide his demon seed amongst us, by calling themselves "Black" and "Latino". Spaniards arent Boricuas. "Black" folk with a "White" father, are "White". You People only parrot what massa tells you. Shameful.

I am a mother of two sons, we were all born and raised in Chicago. When this travesty happened to these men, I was 26 years old. The talk amongst us "Black" people in Chicago was that we were clear that they were being set up! My sons are 25 and 23, currently. It has become so dangerous in the city of Chicago for "Black" males especially, so we finally had to flee. Although we are not quite sure where there is safety, we knew it was no longer there for our family. As the policing becomes more aggressive, anxiety and other illness are also becoming more aggressive among us, including, hopelessness. But isn't that the Plan? Our only way out is God and each other, ourselves. I watched this movie-documentary expecting to be angered but what I experienced profoundly exceeded anger. There were moments of eye bulging shock! I screamed and screamed to God, I boo-who cried, I had to watch in increments in order to maintain self-control!! The only thing that kept me from going into depression is that I am choosing to be motivated by these overwhelming emotions to do something, create something to pay it forward, to help us, to be a part of our monumental need to help each other help ourselves. God and us is our way out of condemnation.

This was a really great interview structured seeping really relevant and thought provoking questions. I have been watching a lot of inter wires about the central lark 5 and many have been disrespectful or focused on points that don’t initiate impactful responses.

Just imagine.... Imagine they were white boys hanging out in the park Would it be termed "wilding??" My heart breaks so much

Wildin is a slang term we use... the problem is how white people interpretrd it, and instead of asking the meaning to the word they feigned ignorance

The kid that was playing Korey deserves a academy award Oscar something that Kids performance was so spot-on to the real Korey wise and you felt every thing that he acted to the point you felt like you was him going through it when he has you crying and wanting to punch the TV you know he's a good actor

I have never cried so much in my life😢 Linda Fairstein and Sheehan deserves a life sentence for the misery, torture & trauma they put innocent young boys through. Those men will never be the same.

So much respect to these boys. It’s not easy talking about such a heavy topic that is still current in today’s society. ESPECIALLY when you have to speak on behalf of people who actually endured it

this movie was made so beautifully tragic it was so inspiring to me these kids were so strong they never admitted they were guilty even when they could have gotten out of jail sooner even though it would saved them pain they wouldn't compromise just too make things better for themselves, I couldn't imagine having that strength at that age especially Kory it's truly inspiring to me. also these kids that played them in the series they are amazing actors so i applaud them just amazing

I've watched a bunch of interviews for this show & this is one of the best! After I watched When They See Us, I was like I can't believe this happened & still does. It heartbreakingly powerful. The real Korey said in an interview he's not sure if he would make the same decision. He was crying. These young actors are amazing. The doc 13th is also very eye opening about the criminal (in)justice system. BTW Asante Blackk is in This is Us also!
