Fuck rappers we need to do better as a community. We need to show rappers that u not greater than community and to tap in. Pnb died because he purposely flexed on people who struggle with poverty. He knows some women will leave their relationship at the sight of his chain and a few dollars because of situation. It's not the rappers we need to save it's the people we need to save from prison. Rappers need to be weeded out of communities if they're not doing anything positive for them.. why aren't people targeting J cole? Think about that he gets on with his life not trying to make people jealous or flex that's why nobody bother him and he can catch the bus but pnb caht even eat a God damn waffle because you play with the demonic spirits that cant wait to catch you

The thing about the record labels that people tend to overlook when blaming is that the record labels are only pushing this type of music because they know it sells. These new artists were streaming with high numbers before they got the record deals. It was their independent suscess that caugth the attention of the record labels in the first place. So when we blame the record label for pushing it, we have to first blame ourselves for consuming it because a lot of it gets pushed independently.
@djboat_
@djboat_ Жыл бұрын
It's a, "chicken or the egg?" problem because the music is hot and the rapper is in a desperate position to change their lives (and the unnecessary obligation to change the lives of the people around him/her). The labels know this, which is why they draft these predatory contracts and put life insurance policies on the artists. The only responsibility we have is to tell these kids is that this music shit isn't real and that the streets are waay more vicious.

Real talk. Hiphop melts kids minds. Record labels push the devilry and rappers dance to the tune like minstrels. We destroy our own communities but blame everyone else.
