@@amybynum8962 What you call forsaking someone at their lowest is the tough love some people need to motivate him or her to get out of self pity, low self esteem and complacency to get a grip and move up to the next level like this man did in the movie. He just didn't love his wife to do the needful like he did for his daughter! He needs a needy woman to feel like a man. His wife was the strong woman he needed for a season to teach him the lessons he needed to learn in that season of his life! Both of them are free to move onto their right mates! When God makes women strong for his purpose, it is not easy for them to meet strong men. This woman knew how to help a weak man become strong but not let him destroy her while helping him become stronger. The reason for strong women to be like this is to be discerning to know that when some men become stronger with your help he will no longer want you, because he is through using you. He doesn't need you anymore. He needs to be with a woman like his daughter who is satisfied with being a weak needy woman for a man to take care of her! A person just must be self aware and know you are going to attract men and women in your life for different reasons! Fewer and fewer men want to do what it takes to be a strong and independent person while continuing to grow and become great in life as God created us to be. More and more women are becoming more mature spiritually and desiring to be great and have a great life! They are willing to work on themselves and trust God to achieve this! So, they are more discerning and knowledgeable in choosing to have relationships with men and all relationships with people in general. Love, respect, sincerity, and integrity are not high priority with most people now. They think they can take short cuts to get what they want by using other people through manipulating, dominating, and intimidating them to get what they want, rather than working to get the right character and mindset first to receive what they want. If the man in the movie had the right heart and really loved his wife, he would have thanked her for helping him and loving him enough to help him to become the man God wants him to be and he wants to be! He still didn't learn his lesson fully. He will move on to the next destiny helper who will teach him what love really is and how to love.

Chike went through hell and back o. From his disrespectful, abusive wife, ungrateful friends, the two sisters and even the lady that were throwing themselves without shame at him. Thank God for giving Chike the strength to persevere and rise up above them all. God said he will give us back more than we lost and I was so happy to see this for him and his daughter. ❤Thus story reminds me of Job in the bible. He lost everything, his lifestock business, his 10 sons, his health, the daughters, his friends but he never lost his wife except that she gave him bad advice. ❤She said to curse God and die. ❤ But his faith was in God, his riches, and he lamented day and night unto the Lord until God healed his situation and gave him back two folds of all he had lost. ❤ All of this started with Satan wanting to test Job to get him on his side but failed at it. 🎉

This is THE reality. I have seen one too many Nigerian movies that misrepresent reality where a spouse goes too far crossing line after line but ends up being forgiven. Such do teach forgiven but like in this case, what we observe in real life is that there is usually no coming back if one too many lines were crossed.

The one person that should have stood by you. Disrespected you belittled you shamed you in the presence of your children. I would forgive her but I would NEVER take her back. Well written movie. His daughter’s strength and support for her Dad was immaculate and exceptional. Which was what his wife should have been. I loved that young lad. It’s the second time I see her on set with that other girl that is always rude and disrespectful.

I always encourage women to assist their men both in good and bad times but the way IK approached her concerning her promotion and increment was out of place… he would have just said okay and walked away when she concurred to the promotion and increase.
