I have pretty much settled in with 832 braid to flouro on spinning equip. I like the bright color line. Suffix also has Performance Braid which is considerably less $$. What’s the distinction between the 2 and when do you utilize Performance braid. Thnx.

I just spooled up 50 yards of fluorocarbon attempting to keep any line twist out in the process by attaching it to my vice and keeping tension on it while pulling straight off. The first time I opened the bale on my reel, the line almost all jumped right off the reel and onto the floor. Since getting it sorted, I’ve tried it ice fishing and it tangles and twists and wraps itself around the rod tip when I release it even slowly. I guess I need to make ice braid my thing and just use this stuff for a leader? I’ve never experienced it like this before. It was Suffix Invisiline Ice 100% Flourocarbon.

What size spinning rod and what size spinning reel and what size of fishing line and what name and size of the fishing floats bobber to use when you are bluegill and shell crawler and crappie fishing from the bank using live minnows and live night crawler and live cricket and sometimes a crappie soft plastic 1-1/2” are 2” crappie tubes please. Great advice! I use braid as you state. How do you keep fluorocarbon from "kinking" (coiling? UN-coiling) on a spinning reel? That's the only reason I don't use it! Thanks! Roger, The Smiling BassHole

Great video! Al One thing I always wanted to know is in all the years you used Triline line why did you switch to suffix? Triline has and is still my favorite and this year I may give Suffix a try.
