I have a momma and spiderlings in her hammock. Her enclosure is not equipped to hold the babies in…how do I remove them? And how/when can they be let free into the wild?

I am worried about ever turning my lamp off. It’s a lamp I found in the house and it gives off heat and very sufficient lighting. It keeps the temperature to about 71-75 degrees and if I turn it off, the temperature drops low like a 10 degree difference. So I just never turn it off because I don’t want her to be cold. Is it more important for them to have 12hrs day 12 hrs night or the temperature?

Hi,so you leave them together for a month or 2 before moving them to their own containers?

So.. babies haven't quite emerged yet, mom is still in there with them but I've noticed her poking her head out the past couple days. But they're in HER enclosure.. Once she comes out, should I take a razor and scrape the egg sack off the enclosure wall and place them in their own enclosure so mom has her space back? She hasn't eaten in over a month, so I worried about putting her in a brand new unfamiliar enclosure, where she'd have to use her energy to build a new web and everything. Maybe I'm overthinking.. I just want to do what's best for mama!

You could do that, but me personally, I'd always rather move mom than disturb babies. That's up to you.
