My budgie bonded with me very quickly, a couple days after I brought them (still unsure of gender) home, they started coming to the door of their cage whenever I came into the room. They’ve never bitten anybody and get along with almost anyone who tries to handle them

My budgie was 2 months old when he said his first words i was repeating smae words since i got him he was 2 weeks old now he is 9 months old and knows lot of words he an learn one word in two days if its reapeted everytime

Got a 3 month old budgie from a pet store. Really energetic and silly. He isn't tamed, but on the first day he ate millet from my hand. Today (second day) He stepped up on my finger for a while and got off after half a minute. His training is going really quickly. I'm suprised.

How do I tame a 10 month old budgie he was at the pet shop for 10 months I rang up on a Tuesday as the cage had arrived and I was ready to get my new budgie. They only had a male and female 10/11 months old and that new baby budgies would be in on Thursday but I couldn’t wait as I was so excited. And I’m glad I got him as he had been there so long but it’s going to take a long time to tame him.

I’ve had my rescue Budgie for about 6 weeks now, she is just now starting to trust me a bit. She will eat from my hand but not let me touch her yet. She has pretty much stopped biting too, just a little nip if my fingers try to touch her. She will brush her head up against them though when eating from a millet spray in my hand. She does run up and try to kiss my lips when I make make kissing noises to her. She is just still afraid of hands.

I was told not to interact with my budgie for at least 2 week to let him settle in. I've had him 3 days. He doesn't freak out when I put my hand in his cage and will happily take millet off me.

I have bought 2 budgies 2 weeks ago. When they are in same cage they are fighting a lot, most of the day(not nibbling but chasing each other with claws at each other and when I seperate they in two cages they keep making sounds and calling each other very loudly and want to go into the same cage. I am really confused what to do

Got my budgie from a local flea market. As far as I’m concerned, it isn’t sick, and it’s at least 8 weeks old since that’s what the breeder told me. The breeder explained to me to not wait for 1 week and pick it up after one hour. I was skeptical, and avoided that. They insisted I pick it up often a hold it. I haven’t done that, since I don’t want to lose my birds trust. Can someone confirm whether I’m doing anything wrong?

Hello, I have a question and I would be very happy if someone answered.. On the second day of owning my two budgies I opened the cage and just waited beside the cage.. One flew around the room and the other followed as well... So I put some food on my hand and one of them started eating, the other one saw him and started eating too they kept eating until I removed my hand.. All that happened only on the second day! Should I give them time to get used to the house or should I continue trying to interact with them? Plz answer me. Thank u (my budgies are 2 or 3 or 4 months old I don't really remember 😅) and another thing.. My budgies are still freezing and scared of my hand and from me.. Idk anymore 😩

I love your videos, but I was bothered by your mention of needing to get a young budgie to train more easily. I do not know how it is where you are, but in the USA there are so many budgies in animal rescue centers. They need homes and the breeders, especially colony breeders, do not need to be encouraged. I have adopted many adults and tamed them successfully.

Please help I have a question. For reasons I only have one budgie. We play with him talk to him and he even sleeps in our hands we love our budgie. His name is pixel :) THE ONLY PROBLEM IS HE WONT STOP CONTINUOUSLY CHIRPING like a smoke detector at any sound he hears and it's driving both my sister and I crazy :( .
