@@dalou61Danzo wouldn't have been able to do it though. Danzo was afraid of Itachi. He just manipulated Itachi's indecisive emotions to pursue a path that Danzo wanted to happen. Itachi was one of the very few capable of doing such a feat at that time. If it was Danzo that attacked Fugaku then Fugaku wouldn't have just sat there and allowed himself to be killed. Mikoto would've joined in as well most likely if she had the sharingan. She knows shuriken jutsu since she offered it to Sasuke once.
