He largely ignores a lot of the arguments these woke twitter activists use, though. If you are buying the game then you're financially supporting JK Rowling. My counter argument to that is that she's been rich for decades already, and buying a video game that she gets royalties from won't affect her ability to write new books or use platforms like Twitter to share her views on trans people. Walt Disney is also dead and has been for a long time. It's a little different when Disney becomes more inclusive as a result of new leadership and creatives working on these movies, than JK Rowling who is still very much alive and in control of the IP like when she wrote The Fantastic Beast movies. Now from what I gather she has not been involved in the creation of Hogwarts Legacy, so that's not really a valid reason to boycott the game, either.

Really over it, and that’s why I now mind my business when they are having problems. I understand life is hard for them, but at the same time, I’m a woman AND a minority in the United States. I deal with enough shit of my own. So I’ll be damned if I’m going to support another group that can’t offer decency and respect in return. Don’t ask for something you can’t give.
