For people bashing this one, 95% of everything DC coming out is dark, gritty and catered to adults that grew up with DC so their ratings are as such. The issue with that is it is leaving out the newer generations that didn't grow up with this stuff in it's heyday 80's and 90's with superman batman and a bunch of really good others so DC made Shazam with that in mind so the younger generation have something they can watch that's not too adult so a kid can love DC as much as we do. If you watch these with that in mind they are actually really good

This triggered my memory of when I was substitute teaching at a high school, and I introduced a "Not So Hot" HS guy to a really gorgeous women "Visitor" out in the hall in front of all the other kids. She talked with him for a few moments as we signed up for his promotion he was doing. We were his first two sign ups. As we started to walk away, kids were clambering over each other to get in his line to also sign up. I found out the next day in the office, that his popularity had skyrocketed since our little visit with him..😎😊😉

The gangbangers who bullied me in senior high-school would have literally murdered me had they gotten the opportunity. Years later, I became a martial arts black-belt and still practice almost daily. 😊 But a public visit by Shazam and/or Superman would have made my teen years much more pleasant and safer 😊.
