She also won the dead lift at 14:01, balance beam at 14:06, and drop kick at 14:09 competitions -- Katie practically did a pentathlon. Matt, on the other hand, just competed in synchronized swimming. Big deal, Matt, you got beat by a girl!

How come I didn't know you were coming to my neighborhood? I checked my mail, and "NO INVITATION". Mom, Citrus Heights CA used to be a wonderful and beautiful place to live. I moved there in 1962, at the age of 7, and left in 1980. I moved back to Citrus Heights 8 years ago. Sadly, It's not a nice place anymore. The old saying, "you can never go back home", is so true. Now it's just a heart breaking place. When we moved to Citrus Heights in 1962 it was a small rural community on the old US 40, (I-80 now). By the early 60's the Citrus was replaced with Olives and Walnuts. Now it's just a suburban city with all the destructive social problems of any city in CA. The wife and I decided that there's nothing here anymore, and we're moving back to Tennessee where we belong. I'm sorry I missed you folks while you were here, I would have given anything to come see you.

I really enjoy your Vlogs, you’re really good at capturing & showcasing people’s individual personality. First, I think Karen would be a natural playing a Mother in a Dr Rick Progressive Ad, especially that airport ad. Also, I can’t believe how much energy Matt has. I used to think Matt was outnumbered by his sisters but now I feel it takes the combined energies of his sisters just to keep up with Matt. Consciously or not there seems to be a “Home Alone” pattern developing with you. 1st the airline forgets about you & Almost leaves you stranded in a wheelchair at the airport, then you forget about your mandolin that Almost makes you late for a show and finally a server or someone forgets about your beverage needs that Almost leaves you coffee-less at a table. Can a person actually give off a “don’t worry about me, I’m not actually here vibe”? 😂 Finally, Emmett only had 1 line but boy does he ever remind me of Warren Buffets Wingman Charlie. Warren, when asked a question will usually go on, in detail, for 5-10 minutes to explain then he’ll turn to Charlie & ask if he has anything to add, whereupon Charlie will usually deliver a 1 line zinger to sum everything up.

What I learned. Katie is surprisingly archery challenged given her many hours of handling a bow. Ellen has a little engineer to her with the dress solution. Matt fries up like a chicken in a deep dish frier. Julian seems to consume several pounds of sugar and caffeine a day, so I'm expecting a video where she smashes her mandolin when she goes rock star during a performance. Emmit can get sounds out of a microphone that the rest of us can only imagine. And Momma appears to be the sneaky instigator behind the scenes. It all looks like too much fun. Bless you, for sharing.

Julianne actually did smash her mandolin. That's the real reason she forgot to bring it. She has yet to tell her mom. She'll have to break out the spoons and play them at the concert. :-)

Matt is hilarious. You have to see his latest Instagram post. Seems he has Siri convinced his name is "Matt Mylover". Unbeknownst to him, when he ordered his coffee through Siri, Siri put his order in under Matt Mylover. The barista was too embarrassed to call his name out. Gotta be the worst pickup scheme ever!

I came back home (California) to visit just a few months too late! I've been watching, listening, enjoying you all from Thailand and sure would be fun to meet you. Maybe some other time :) I work with the Karenni people (refugees in Thailand from across the Burma border) and one of the most popular instruments in church is the violin, so come on over Katie! :D There are loads of kids (and adults) to teach!

You would expect Katie to be able to handle a bow. I think that for whatever reason the editor of this video left out the part where she hit that perfect 10. This is just the footage from before she had her coffee. And we all know she needs that stuff like Popeye needs his spinach. Very entertaining video, guys. I enjoyed it.

Jules, I am not sure what they teach at College of the Ozarks but chocolate is not really part of the 4 food groups. Also, when the time comes, Costa Rica offers top notch, full dental implants at 1/4th-1/3rd cost vs if done here in U.S. Just sayin..........Was a very fun watch. Keep 'em comin'.
