I wonder if this woman ever really loved? It would be interesting if we could see her life when she was younger. I remember Esma in *The Bride of Istanbul*. I'm so tired of Afife. She's just so irrational. It's hard to believe she's a grown woman of over 60. She acts like a child, stomping around the house with her nose in the air, so disapproving of everything and everyone, especially when it involves Hira. I don't have a problem with the premise of disliking someone. Certain people just don't click. But at least have a solid reason for it, like they're blackmailing you, are unpredictably evil, and conspired with a psychotic whose antics could've hurt your son. At this point Afife's just mad at Hira's mere existence and considering the vital role Afife played in Orhun and Hira meeting, she only has herself to blame. After all, Nihan would've never gone to Africa if Afife hadn't made her believe Alico was dead. Nihan would be in Istanbul raising her son today if it wasn't for Afife's cruelty. If Nihan doesn't go to Africa, she doesn't get murdered there either, and Orhun never goes to retrieve his sister's remains and identify her killer. Meanwhile, what kind of mother resents seeing her son having BREAKFAST? Shouldn't Afife be glad that Hira helped Orhun get rid of that unhealthy habit of never having a decent breakfast to start his day? And the flowers are beautiful and look amazing. Afife noticed their presence like they were some sort of eye sore. I just wish she would let it go. They're married. It's happened and won't be undone. And considering despite everything she's said and done, no one is asking her to leave, she should be grateful. Between Neva, Asli, and Eda, every woman Afife thinks is more appropriate for Orhun turns out to be a psychopath. And Perihan staying in the house was Afife's idea too. Clearly she isn't a good judge of character and should be humbled by her miscalculations.
