Assuming that the writings are correct, he would be struggling with the magical presence of his life, and the completely demolished state of his existence. As you said, he would be humble, but maybe moreso humbled by Hashem to force him to return to the destiny that seems to impossible to be true. You're the first rabbi I've heard on here to NOT demand Moshiach but to pray FOR him and that mitzvot is worth a double portion. Surely he is nearer than we can imagine in time and space. You are the wisest among your people. Many rabbi's have lingered off the righteous path. But Moshiach does need your love but he also needs to know he is deserving of your love. And that he can only accomplish by doing what he feels as the most impossible thing to do.

Believing in Hashem, blessed is He, that he listens to our prayers, that he sees our sufferings, and he wants us to call upon him to ask him for help to direct us so that we can straighten our ways, for his sake and ours. But we do need to trust in him, and believe in our selves that with his help we can accomplish the redemption promised. Sometimes there are some influences outside of ourselves that can confuse us in all matters of life. The words you speak are very true. The snake only offered insight in what's wrong and right. Because without it, free will does not exist. But negative thoughts are not bad by definition. Because seeing the truth regarding what humans do amongst eachother can be a very negative experience. One should see both the good and bad deeds of humans. This is the process that the Ultimate Man is going through first of all why him of all men who have existed and exist, second all men divided themselves and made their own Ultimate Man and even gave it names, the third he is the bringer of law and see that laws have been perverted and twisted, how can he lead people who are already ruled by the devil, the idoletary is great as men pursuit and love of money is great (the serpent itself) and even say how can I eat if I don't have money as if money gives food, as if you throw money on the soil it will grow fruits you can eat, the deception is deep and great. As property becomes more virtual and more controversial so does people start to see the true nature of money but still they don't want to let go. How can you lead people who worship paper bonds like it was a the Creator. I don't think anybody wants to be the "messiach" it such conditions. But for the Creator even only a very very few will hear and listen than I guess it is worth the effort but honestly there is not much hope for most of the people you are far to gone in your evil ways. You cannot see even a glimps of light anymore. Sad, I wish I could say otherwise but even when you tell them the undeniable truth they get angry and start cursing, very odd behavior. Nobody wants to be the messiach as everybody knows what it means you will have to rule men and women worldwide and tell them the obvious and that they don't like so they will quickly eliminate you just like Jesus. Maybe when some people will open their eyes even if it burns in pain for all the sacrifices they will have to make to help the UltimateMan achieve his goal, it won't be many but I guess we can call them the champions of the Ultimate Man. A person would have to be meshuga to want to be Mashiach. Like in the Tzavah, you don't put yourself forward, you don't volunteer. You wait untill you're picked. You know, when we first entered into the land at the time of Yehoshua, not everyone wanted an earthly king and to be like the nations. There were many that wanted HaKadosh Barachu to be King directly over us without having an earthly king, which we thought at the time to be superfluous. Everyone needs to try and save themselves. If you are not for yourself how can you be for anyone else. To expect someone to come along and make everything all right for you, is not right, it's denial of your own responsibility to yourself. Ok, nobody can do it all on their own and we all need help from time to time. Oh how I pray for Israel. If you find this too lofty a Self-recognition, it is the Creator Who as you finds this too lofty a Self-recognition... thinking as you "I'm but a human, and far from a perfect human." Yet when you take into consideration that it is the Creator thinking that as you when you think it, it is indeed he Creator Who is taking it into consideration and thinking that as you. The Creator being all knowing and all powerful can never make a mistake. So He never has any reason to be angry or sad, let alone change His Holy Mind. Yet as a human He certainly can, and remember He is the Creator, not really the man He seems to be and thought He was. An example of that is written by the Creator through Hosea in chapter 11 versed 8 and 9. Blessed be His Name, meaning His Self-awareness of Identity in each and every one of us. This is His anointment of us, His atonement with us, His At-One-Ment with us. Amen.
