@@motey3222 I ended up smoking for a whole month and quit again, after that it took only 21 days to pass one. Now it’s been about 37 days since my last one and I smoked for 420 just one joint and I’m gona see how many days it takes after just one joint

I quit on 420 I’ve smoked for years all day everyday im 6’1 280lbs gonna see how long it takes me its been almost a week and I’ve found that im not wanting to smoke as often i still “want too” but getting my cdl is definitely more of a priority than smoking pot.

I smoke for pain relief but some of my family just call that an excuse.. i feel like when i get through this week or 2 i will make the biggest step ive made and shouldn’t have the urge to smoke again. @@drum-a-holix9822 - Not with the pace our federal government moves. Many states are legalizing, but it’s still illegal and can be prosecuted at a federal level - the state and federal government have essentially just created an informal agreement not to *actively* pursue in states that have legalized the use of THC. In all reality though, the federal government could step in at anytime and shut down any dispensary and charge us for possessing. Of course, the odds of that happening are virtually null. To deschedule a substance requires years of research and testing, also coordination between the federal government, DEA and potentially FDA to make it legal on a federal level. There have obviously been brief stints where the current and past administrations have spoken about legalizing, but it’s in no way a priority. I fully support recreational legalization, but before we get there, I would assume there would be a period of medical legalization to actually test it on a wide scale before giving pot heads full access to a drug that still has a high potential of abuse, and can still be very dangerous - just like alcohol (yet that’s legal, and less beneficial).

It’s criminal that they test for metabolites for preemployment .. things that stick around LONGGGG after effects and usage cessation

Maybe everyone should all quit trucking at the same time, we will go back to work when you end urine and hair testing. I bet they'd crack within a few days

No, you can even eat a bud that’s not been decarboxylated and not test positive. D9THC is the byproduct of THCa being decarbed, either by an oven for cooking or smoking as you smoke.

Why is it a greater concern? DOT does not require a hair folical test.

You can go into a collection site and get a “look alike “ test. And see if you pass. A faint line means you are getting close to passing. But don’t trust it. Go and get a look alike test

Any failed DOT test will require a SAP program

Absolutely just make sure to do what is suggested and you’ll be good warm it up for only 10 secs and then use the hand warmers that come with it

@corigliano53 you both lied where I live labs results must be different they test for everything apparently in nc. Temp was fine sample comes back as inconclusive because it doesn't match creatine levels like normal piss. They can catch it now here.

Every test starts at 50ng, including observed and return to duty. Only if the test result is above the 50ng level will they use the split sample, that one will be tested at 15ng.

You’re partially correct. The initial screen is 50 ng/ml, if you fail that. Then a confirmatory test is conducted for the specific metabolite of THC at 15 ng/ml. The split specimen is not tested for a qualitative result but instead a quantitative result for the MRO to interpret.

You would not fail a test with 1 hit. Unless maybe it was a concentrate.

Must be a DOT five panel test by a DOT approved testing facility.

You can give yourself a look alike dot test at a real lab to be safe

A pre-employment DOT is required.

Man I’m skinny asf I have abs and don’t work out, I weigh 130 and I’m 5’9, took me 45 days to get it out of my system. The second line was so faint though that I honestly don’t know if it would be considered negative or not but I’m going with it 😂 better find a friend who doesn’t smoke to pee in a bottle for you then keep it in your underwear or you are screwed my friend

update so 10 days clean later running 2 miles every other day (10 in total) with a fairly strict diet and drinking nothing but water consistently i tested myself and had a very very faint 2nd line (passing) it was very faint but there im sure in about 2 weeks total time i should be clean and ready to take my drug test for my new job thanks for all the advice doc

No. Any faint line is a pass. But you might fail a real lab test. Go get a look alike test at a lab.
