So uhh weird question I've got for internet strangers: you see how all these guys have lambos and it may just be the dream, but I don't have such high dreams and will never be able to afford it anyhow. Right now I'm driving my mom's old car (citroen c5), not complaining though. But I've seen a car drive around a few times that I really started to like and with my savings I can even afford a brand new one. The question is should I get one? And a few other related questions like is it any good? Will it hold up? How is the maintenance? The car in question is a lexus is 300h. I ask a bit of forgiveness as I did only get my liscence recently and I just don't know a lot yet (if I ever really will know a lot).

First let's state this, in reality, car is just a tool. Some will see it as a way to show how prosperous they are, to enlarge their dick or ... just to get from A to B. Heavily depends on what you want from said car. Now, the biggest tip I can give to you, young one. Get a car that you won't feel bad when you park at a mall, where some fat asshole will scratch it with his keys in the back pocket, because he couldn't squeeze back into his own car. You are a new driver too as it seems, so remember you will literally learn how to drive the car (license is just the beginning), you may cause or be part of a collision, etc. your car may and probably will be damaged. Better to get some 2nd hand "cheap" car and experience it from that than blow your savings on a "dream car" and then cry in a corner, because you've got it scratched.

Buy a car you can pay full price or close to full price. Do not take a lot of debt just to make it happen. Make sure you can repair and maintain it. A Lexus could be an interesting option. But bear in mind that it's the luxury division of Toyota. And luxury, even if it's used, might be more expensive to maintain, repair, or even tax-related stuff. Do your research on how good the car is. What are the most common problems, etc.
