@@filipantic5801 the water-type form does, but I'd probably still pick Ash-Greninja in AG because Water Shuriken has priority and I don't think Surging Strikes does, so if you were to switch into endeavor, you can still take it out the next turn.

Dude right? Honestly depending on the pokemon in question this is why a lot of times I'll actually tend to avoid the typical high power, low accuracy moves like focus blast and such. I'd rather have consistency in a lot of situations. At the end of the day sometimes the dice just aren't in our favor, y'know?

@@SknowingWolf I used to have both moves like Thunder and Thunderbolt I go for Thunderbolt until they're low, then I unleash the big bad Thunder for a big flashy finish against the npcs But now i try to set up Thunder if I can, or I just try and get some boosts going so thunderbolt can sweep

@@GoldenKirby Thunder is actually really good if you have say rain dance. in the rain it never misses. And people/NPC tend to use rock/ground to counter that which you can counter with a water pokemon that can also benefit from the rain.

Nah. People know Pokemon too much. Ev training. A lot of breeding. Natures. Hidden ability. It's something to see but takes the fun out for the casual player. I still don't understand any of it. I just understand type advantage and probability.

Z-Hypnosis still has the standard Hypnosis accuracy (60%, maybe 70% when this was recorded, I dunno). You get the speed boost no matter what, but the sleep part can still miss.

@@skullerclawerbandicoot7966 It's not so much that Extreme Speed gets affected by Scarf so much as it is how priority brackets work. If two Pokemon use a move within the same priority bracket, the one with higher Speed will go first.

@@JuukaRock ? I think there's two different lines of convo going on. It's not a speed tie anymore if one side has choice item and the other doesn't. Priority moves like extreme speed can still go second if the opponent's mon ALSO uses and has higher speed. But more specifically, choice items don't have an effect on dynamax pokemone. You can see in the second fight how ditto could use max quake even tho it's choiced in extremespeed. It loses both the speed boost and the lock into one move effect

While it is only 60% accurate still, the sleep really didn't matter. Since Groundon died the next turn if Tempt didn't put them to sleep he would have just killed them. The Z-hypnosis was probably just used for the speed boost and since the pokemon was never hit after that even in the 40% chance the hypnosis missed, unless Groundon could OHKO it wouldn't have changed things, and if Groundon *could* OHKO they would have to get through Darkrai with either their Mewtwo or ground Arceus as the Ratatata would take out one of them and Groundon was going down in one hit to Darkrai. Even if the other guy got to trade Mewtwo for the Ratatata I'm not sure the Arceus would win 1 v 1 against Darkrai

Z moves can not miss. They don't check for accuracy. So its like no guard.
