It’s worse when you get older… so now I have to pat myself on the back that I got through and survived all my stupid idiotic choices because I felt sorry for myself and other reasons I was restless and bored. Now I look forward, and I have to let go of the past to do that. I am now in love with my life and my family❤

As a Christian in the past and a woman , it was always put upon us to be meek serve , no anger and if you do , then tippy toe around it . Righteous anger seemed to be christs gig but not really encouraged for the mere mortals . It was not empowering in my experience and still have issues with expressing feelings of anger to anyone which isn’t healthy either . I’ll meditate on this little nugget of wisdom and go beat up my pillows , the oxy moron is do not sin in your anger . Words to become cognitive dissonance.

I'm struggling with self worth. Beyond struggling. It runs my life. Along with that comes resentment for me through certain avenues. I'm stuck in this, "well, I've failed at most everything, I'm done trying" I never really felt this way. I've never been a "poor little me" kinda dude. But I'm tired of failing. It feels like I am a failure. I've not grown at all in a decade because of the enormous walls I've built. It's sad actually. I need a good psychologist for real! I've been through the meds, and psychiatrists and psychologists and therapists and I feel I've only achieved negative results. Anyway, felt good to type this thought out.

I wish I could talk about the rage I have! But I know no one would give a shit anyway so I keep it locked inside building and building for years and it leaks out of me now a little at a time but if I were to ever fully unleash my rage someone would have to either beat me to death to stop me or shoot me! I fight hard to maintain control but these days it’s almost like there are 2 of me 1 good and 1 bad and it feels like a constant fight for control always!

@@HopeF916 sounds like a toxic relationship, if they're not willing to listen they might have given up on the relationship and it's better to come to terms if leaving is the best choice for both of you or seek help to mend the broken threads between the members. Always keep in mind that us humans have a hard time seeing the person in front of us and their troubles that affect them they could be way smaller than yours or bigger but they're troubles nonetheless not everyone can manage their stress and anger like others just because you can pick your battles doesn't mean others can.

I would say that I agree with ordan B. Peterson about 80% of the time on the things he says. This may also be due to our different paths in life, along with a dozen other reasons. In this speech, however, I once again give the full 100%. If you are looking for a path, you should listen to one of his motivational speeches once a day during the breaks, along with some good meditative music, and then take a few minutes to reflect. Perhaps while listening to good meditative music at the same time?

Im almost 33. Im 3-4 months into the best job ive ever had. I am on maybe the 3rd time ive hit rock bottom and rebuilt with literally nothing (heroin, im sober now tho). No home to stay, no car, no a single friend, my mom is the only blood family i have. I have 3 kids, with 2 women. One of them works with me to co parent. My youngest sons mom makes it hard to see my son. I have no social life. No facebook. Or any social media relationships. And i am at a place, where ive never been so defeated and discouraged. But this time it has shown itself as anger. Pure hatred and anger for people who cross me and the cruel unfairness of life. I know everyone says “GET OVER IT”. Thats insane to me. Im not a privileged brat. Im intelligent. Diligent. I am honest and try my best. But i contonuously get screwed by life. More than most i think. I hate being like this

Well, there’s a lot of things I’m 41 years and you know there is a lot of things in life that can be very difficult especially when someone has a learning disability called dyslexia so all of a sudden your mind is completely focus on trying to accomplish but you pressure yourself so much that your mind overwhelms yourself then you just get into a spiral of anger Especially when you’re around people with a regular headspace they start to criticize you all over the place because you’re slower than they are and even though I am very positive as much as I can, but there’s certain things that I will just start breaking out in temper and anger that others never see in their life before and they get really scared because they’ve never seen a very calm individual get super angry.

As a woman, i find anger very problematic, and Im a very outspoken person. When we confront someone, including our partner, we're seen as whiny, aggressive, and rude. People don't like passive-aggressive attitude but they also don't like us being straightforward, as being angry is not "woman-like" and it makes us unattractive to our partners. So how do we convey anger and frustration that doesn't just include kindly saying "your behaviour makes me angry" because honestly most of the times it doesn't do anything and it's just an opening for the other person to start justifying their behaviour. Basically, why is everyone so soft and unable to take constructive criticism anymore?!

I'm not sure how to take this advice in regards to my Anger. I analyze my anger and i attempt to see if i'm just being a whiny brat and that i need to grow up, but instead i see all the reasons i'm angry and how that's understandable. Yet, if i speak my mind forthright and even try to speak about the complaint in a way where i'm offering a solution or working towards that solution, it's too confrontational for this soft, agreeable society. If you start to point out what you have an issue with or what you would like to be different instead, you are targeted or seen as the issue itself. So at some points, it just feels like a Catch-22 where if you're mad or resentful about your life circumstances or the world, oh well, nobody cares. Deal with it. And then i'm just more angry than i was with just the original problem. I want to integrate my Shadow so that i gain more respect for it and desire for alternative reactions to stressful situations, but i feel like the more i'm integrating it the more i'm just becoming it. It sometimes really feels like my mind thinks of destructive and awful things and it feels right even though i know it's not.

I am not resentful cause I am immature. On the contrary, I prolly am resentful cause I’m too mature. Modern times now? It’s constantly waking up to more bad news. People abusing animals, people abandoning their pets, people scamming people of their life savings, these are all commonplace today. And humanity has taken such a downward shift-degenerating instead of evolving to be a more sophisticated species. Telltale signs everywhere. I always do good, charity and all, but bad things still happen to me and these are bad things that are committed by others! Maybe all of us who are Always angry here should form a support group.

Tip toe around the people around you and guard all your feelings as law because no on3 will respect you. Period. Not even a spouse for life. No one. So it's up to us to save ourselves. And anger is because we have to deal with people. That's it. If you remove the people factor, anger no longer exists. That's why we back away from people, because they suck. So anger is justified for life because of the stupidty we have allowed humanity to b3come to live with. Love is a job. Not a feeling. It's an app.

He could've said that in about 300 words less and it would've been way more understandable to the real world. Not that he was terribly wrong but that most folks nowadays wouldn't even be able to comprehend the plethora of words. The whole persona thing is pretty wacky though, if you have to put up a front to the public you're just a fake of reality and people never really get to know you. It should just flow out of you naturally.
