@@LaLaCucarachait is hard for wow’s standard but not hard overall, especially in single target. Its getting pretty challenging in aoe to execute it perfectly with having to keep your lashing flames debuff on 5-6 targets (meaning you switch targets affected by flame shock every lava lash while doing normal rotation). OP’s comment about hitting everything that is not on cooldown is wrong though because you often have several abilities off cooldown and you follow priority to maximise damage and maelstorm gen. Im talkin bout elementalist build, storm build is press stormstrike until you cant 😂 This is coming from top 1 eu log holder

I haven't played WoW in years but during MoP this was completely fine, Enhance was monstrously strong in the second half of the expansion and super fun.

@@TheGoatLocker Warlords broke my guild, I switched to another with the one guildmate who continued playing and we cleared most of mythic but the raid leader was a dick. It was an easy decision to stop early in Legion as enhance had been turned from juggling cooldowns to maximize burst damage to a straight up slot machine.

Every class is 4/5 major buttons, and you are a hybrid class with range, dps and healing spells, compared to a warrior that only is melee, before saying shit about warrior try to understand the situation

When you play the Stormstrike build it is basically "When in doubt, press ST" for ST. Also mega fun if you get PI + BL at the start of the fight :)

Omg.. as someone who mained enh after not playing since MoP my brain hurt… I made the active switch to Fury war 🤣 now I feel bored so I’m leveling up a shadow priest . If it’s gonna be complicated at least I’ll be at range now 🤣

From my perspective as a enha beginner i think i start understand the rotation. Just make sure u have good addon that shows u maelstorm stacks. U need to understand u have three maelstorm spenders - chain lighntning, lightning bolt and elemental blast. Try unleash lightning bolt when u have 7-8 stacks maelstorm, try keep having elemental blast buff and unleash it when u have 2 stacks EB and 5 and more maelstrom. Priority is to spend maelstrom bcd u dont want to waste another stacks. If u have aberus set take sundering but if u dont pick windfury totem it help alot whole raid group full of meele. If u have your main abilites on cd press ice strike and on 5-7 stacks unleash frost shock

This was me in OG Wrath. Mained resto and after getting the fist weapon and left over hunter gear I gave it a shot. Took me so long to finally get down. And it changes slightly as you upgrade gear and stats change.

I've found that when I go on icy veins or wowhead or something to find a guide, my dps almost always goes down. I've stopped looking at those and now I just do what I want. I've started having more fun, and doing more damage using builds I made myself instead of one someone else made. I even saw a guide on wowhead written by a guy who doesn't even play the class the guide was for, nor does he even play retail.

It’s still a rotation. Most of it will be exactly the same, especially the opener and first 1-3 minutes of combat depending on procs.

i remember when i used to play wow there are macro's for this kind of thing where you input the sequence of skills in one icon so you don't go full mozart on the keyboard is that still a thing? i mean on TBC and WOTLK i do that for my survival and beastmaster main hunter, warlock, and death knight

Macros wouldn’t really work because your actions change depending on your procs, number of enemies, maelstrom weapon stacks, etc. Once you get used to the spec it flows nicely though.

Ya talking about one button macros~ as far as I’m aware they’re considered a violation of the terms of service if you use them but no one would know unless you sent a ticket to blizzard confessing it. I play with two guys that use them one of them even sort of knows how to code them, the other randomly turns into his storm boon trinket at the worst time Cus he don’t know how to alter it

@@Threeheadedgnomeone button macros in and of themselves aren’t a TOS violation. Anyone can use a castsequence macro that follows a simple rotation, but like someone above said, it can’t react and change according to your procs or enemy status. We don’t normally have access to the code that would allow us to write a macro such as this. You would need a LUA unlocker to give you access to that code, which is absolutely a TOS violation. Reliable LUA unlockers are much harder to find compared to years ago

looks complicated but eh is one of the easiest classes to play in this game. use ur big globals and then press stormstrike whenever its ready... u make a ton of dmg and its so ez. play outlaw if u seek for a realy hard class to play.

Enhance needs a rework. And while they do that, make it a 2H spec as well as Dual Wield. Make it a builder spender, like Warriors, but make it feel magical, make it feel at one with the elements. Like Evokers have very cool spells from their respective Dragonflights. Bronze,Red,Blue,Green etc. Give us a 2h nuke smack thats like execute.

It's also how it currently works, you just have a buff instead of a bar you're filling by attacking (you build maelstrom to spend on instant spells). I disagree that they're always gutting it, as someone who's played enh on and off since vanilla (including going back and doing it again in classic). It's had it's ups and downs over the years, as have most specs in the game.
