The PPD-34/38 with drum mags and the PPD-40 are just as good, don't take as long to unlock and are cheaper

@@xn_z14The PPDs fire a little slower, that's probably why they might not feel as powerful but you don't really need 1000 RPM to shred effectively

I was in Berlin recently and every single pre 1940s building is absolutely riddled with small arms fire from these types of Soviet weapons. By early 1945 the Soviets had huge quantities of these weapons going against unequipped Volksturmm reserves in Berlin often equipped with single shots rifles, whilst also being outnumbered nearly 10 to 1. Truly terrifying to have been a German soldier at that point in the war.

Also I am pretty much here with you, I am only 3 tiers away from getting the PPSH-41at Tier 26 in Berlin. I can practically hear Soviet March playing as we steamroll the Germans even during close games we lost. 😂 I will hear it even more the closer I get to Tier 26.

I had the exact same just slowly becoming half communist. But at the time I didn't even think much of it I was first grinding for level 20 and the DP-27. After I got that I was looking at the PPSH-41 and then 1 week of grinding later this
