In fact I also had a different kind of thought from teenage that I'll have someone in my life who will be elder than me at least 1 month, personally I never preferred younger one though a girl came in my life who was 2 years younger but that relationship didn't last more than 3 months. Having love experience with my EX gf who were around 3 years elder than me but we had no issues on it .
