@@lucasleong8529no ez or hard role…. That might apply to heroes and how they play their roles….there is only role objectives and u either accomplish them or no. But a good player should have a good understanding of all roles and its dos and donts. Mage might be first or 2nd role to learn for many players that doesnt make it easier than others.

I'm almost convinced that Cyclops is much better as a jungler than a mage. His snowball potential is insanely good. If only Moonton give Cyclops a Granger treatment (increases damage against jungle creeps) he'll be in the spotlight more. I'm not a fan of him being a mid laner as he's quite slow in the early game and is too mana dependant.

yeah, most of the time I'd only use him as jungler, when I'm mid I had to use the basic common emblem to sustain his mana meaning less damage but more sustain. It still end up good tho but not as better as jungler cyclops.

@@jhnndrw_ heres a tip, try buying the blue ball small item from clock of destiny or necklace, itll regen your mana and health everytime you level up, no problem!

@@jhnndrw_ I had to adjust to buy Mana Boots to be able to rotate consistently without recalling and replace it with Penetration/CDR boots in late game once I got his core item when I play him in lanes outside junglers. Not only that him in the mid lane makes his snowball potential much worse. Which is why I always prefer him as a Jungler, whenever I had to adjust I won't be playing Cyclops optimally since he needs ET and CE asap, and usually in solo queue farming is much harder due to teammates' unpredictability.

Trust me bro, Cyclops isn't underrated at all. EVERYONE knows how powerful and dangerous he gets whether he's the mage or the jungler, the problem is that he's too easy to counter and is too weak to keep up with anyone in the current meta. You can't use betosky as an example of how good Cyclops can be because one, he's got TONS of matches with him, and two, he's got overall experience in the game, so he knows what he's doing.

@@vijaayreddy437 first Under-rated means he is supposed to be Tier A but people act like he is Tier B. usually this means usage rate in Mythic or MG+. Right now (check ML site for stat), Cyclop usage is not bottom barrel and is used more than other heroes. So he is Okay. Not underrated, not overrated. situational pick. All cyclop users knows we need a good early game be it as jungler or mid. So he can be used against a composition that is slow in early game (which rarely happens as composition is always Meta for fast pace game) or you are queuing with someone that knows and understand your game. Other mage can recover from bad early game due to the fact they have turn tides of a team fight from a good CCs.

Cyclops is by no means a weak jungler. He is like Granger and Cici combined, because of his second skill. He doesn't need to aim, just walk past the enemy and hit them with basic attack or skill to deal damage and the balls will follow. His damage from seond skill is severely underestimated, the passive gives cooldown for all skills and the movement speed buff is the cherry on top. Cyclops is one the most OP heores if played well. I don't even consider him to be a mage. To me, he is a fighter that deals magic damage, and can easily go to exp lane if played well. Although, he doesn't have any sustain skills, or the ability to last whole teamfights, the spellvamp from concentrated energy more than makes up for it. And he is one of the deadliest heroes to chase. One of the most satisfying moments of playing Cyclops is when you are being chased by the enemy, and you use skill 2 to get the movement speed buff and the balls deal enough damage to scare the enemy away, but the enemy misses their attack and your balls damage is so high, you either end up killing the chasing enemy, or get enough health via spellvamp that the tables turn completely.

Almost all magic items fit him well. But hlowing wand and genius wand are the best against tanky heores. I use ice queen wand when i need more spellvamp, movemnt speed or to slow enemies down. Full damage build does the trick against most marksmen, mages and assassins. But my favourite to kill are fighters as they chase me around and watch me as i melt them using dovine glaive. Works wonders on his damage.

Cyclops is a weak jungler because of how easy he can be denied farm in the early game. Outside of his second skill, he has no mobility and because of his 2nd skill range, he's more easily kited

@@bilalrustam8453 you can't gain those two items immediately if the enemy jungler or tank keeps invading you resulting in significant delay in farm. Cyclops hurts a lot especially with items but he's pitifully weak in the first 5 minutes

@winter9242 Well, that's the point. Nothing is a cherry pie to eat. You gotta be careful. Bad teammates are a universal occurrence. It can happen to anyone. And that's when you get real experience to play in stress and create an opportunity for outplays and solo carries.

He's not in Asia server which is why the enemies are noticably bad. Though I get why, since I'd rather give content to fans and it's sometimes more interesting than high Mythic rank games, since teammates or enemies come up with the most unorthodox ways of playing that it's just interesting overall. I don't doubt his skill, and I understand why he choses to play this way

I almost always just fill based off needs/team comp. Cyclops was my first ever main many years ago tho I don't use him a ton these days because there are other mids I'm having more fun with these days. But the other day, I was left with jungle role and the team comps screamed to me "play cyclops"... so I did and I absolutely dominated. I thank you Betosky!

Some people become very good at bad heroes, I lost to a Zilong once in Mythical Glory solo match, his macro is so good and on point, even after I freeze lane from early game. Maybe it's exactly because those heroes are rarely used, it's felt clunky to counter their playstyle.

My favorite thing about cyclops is his versatility, he can go mid, jungle and roam (that dire hit extra damage is great). Also how a lot of inexperienced players don’t know how his ult works, I can stop and kill a very deadly and fed Karina with just a full ult combo.
