my non-cuber friends know that twisting a corner makes it impossible. so my friends will twist multiple corners so it will "Make me more confused" and "make it more impossible" but because they twist multiple corners i get lucky sometimes and they did it perfectly where it actually becomes a normal scramble, and its so funny watching them be insanely confused on how i solved it without twisting a corner. and im sitting there like "You Fool. you thought you came here to confuse me. Actually if the sum of the clockwise twists of corners, is 6, then you can’t solve it. Like if UDL, UDR and ULU have the same twists or if URU and URD have opposite twists. This is because it takes six RUR’U’ algorithms to cancel themselves out. Here is why this is: When you do RUR’U’ it takes the corner out. The even times the corner gets pushed upwards and reset to its position, hence the flipping algorithm; the R’ is to put it back into place. [F-front, R-right, U-up] So basically the F corner flips to a U; the next pair it flips to an R and the last one it flips to an F, solving the cube, or at least doing nothing to it.
