Wow, it worked! I had a hard time getting it on because these were much different from the others, and that was my first time putting them on a controller. It was a perfect fit as well.

That's exactly what I do

What I find to work the best is to grab the inside and bend them out towards you while then when the inner bit is touching the sick you let go. It'll snap to it. The ones for the joycons tend to be stiffer and can't be rotated on

I find flipping them inside out placing the center on the thumb stick then flipping it back works quite well too.

I used too fold them inside out on my joysticks, then fold them back on top of my joystick. Always worked, never failed.

I've also found out if you turn them inside out and just let it flip back while you hold it on the joystick it fits on nicely too

I find it easier if you flip them inside out, set it on the stick, and gradually flip it back the right way

I have black ones with blue cat paw prints on them, matches my blue controller I love them lol, I got one on fine and the second one was being a pain so I turned it inside out and just pushed it and it went on

I definitely recommend getting some Kontrol Freeks. They’re a bit more pricey but well worth it. Quality is amazing, they’re insanely grippy, they clip right on, and they have many height options

Ive also found that joystick grips limit the full range that you can tilt them at leading to walking instead of running in some games. For this reason I dont use grips.
