Tom Cruise is weird. He's one of the last true movie stars and one of the most passionate in the industry with jaw dropping stunts and a variety of roles. But there's something off about him. From interviews inspiring American Psycho, to behind the scenes stories of his overly positive attitude to even the iconic jumping on Oprah's couch moment. But when you take an even better look at him and his ties to Scientology, things get a bit more controversial.
We'll be looking at the good, weird and insane sides of Tom Cruise. The further we venture the weirder things get with his Scientology connections involving slaves, crazy interviews, his two divorces to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes and much more...

The federal government failed to shut down the occults and denominations using tax exemption under false pretenses. They don't contribute to their communities like they are supposed to. All denominations are forbidden in the Bible. Isaiah 44:5-7. Meanwhile the movie industry creates a variety of honest paying jobs for future generations, and that's a spiritual thing.

The more I think about Bale modeling Bateman after Cruise, the more it makes sense. Cruise is so manufactured. So unauthentic. He's the perfect kind of film star in the worst ways possible. Externally he is top notch. But you can sense how fake he is. The forced laughter. The outrageously large smile. The carefully rehearsed mannerisms. It's like he studied to be a person without ever having a personality. "There's nothing behind the eyes" is true.

his charisma and charm alone completely made everyone forget about that's he's the number 2 in Scientology often referred to the reincarnation of L. Ron Hubbard (the founder) and he also abandoned his kids and left his wife because they were deemed SP's by the church, but because he's basically one of the last daredevil action stars we have that does all of his own stunts (which no production company would allow but since he owns his own production company he can do anything he wants) everyone just turns a blind eye or forgot about how weird this dude is

I can't help but have this feeling once he gets to a certain age, Hollywood are gonna see they can't make the kind of money of him like they used to. And will serve him up on a silver platter. Possibly even earlier if the next mission impossible movie also flops. There might even be another MeToo movement except this time only against Scientology. Feels insane to me how we have gotten all of these stories from ex members, the insane punishments, children who are born into it being isolated from their parents. And somehow been able to get away with more insane things than even the catholic church.

He's been an A-List actor for about 40 years now. Starting when he was a teenager. He found scientology that elevated him to an A-list scientologist for nearly 40 years now. If he's weird then it's because he's been in a bubble echo chamber for half a lifetime. It's actually something of a miracle that he comes across as a decent guy with a sense of humour but who's weird. I strongly doubt that he knows what normal behaviour is. He approximates it and that comes across as false, but his reality is so foreign to us that it seems deeply odd. Say what you want about him, but by all accounts he's a professional at work and his private life is his own. I've got nothing against Cruise.

But as time passed, when I saw him doing Tropic Thunder, Ben Stiller impersonating him to his face; not taking himself to seriously, and learning that he apologized to Brooke Shields in person, and what he’s like as a person (based on what the people who have met him and know him, say he’s like) I don’t hate him anymore. Tom Cruise may be a robot pretending to be a nice human, but I can't ignore how much I like his output, some of it I even love. So, since I don't follow what celebrities do in their personal lives anyway, it's pretty easy for me to divorce the “real person” from the “persona on screen”. And since I have absolutely no personal stake in their personal lives, I genuinely only care about their movies or TV shows.

Because he is not a robot pretending to be a nice person. Oprah has a long list of victims from her shows and interviews, who trusted her.

I try not to consume any of his content by my own choice. I wont go out of my way to watch anything hes in however for example, during my bff's bridesmaids party she paid for all of us to see Top Gun Maverick, so IMO that's fine bc it wasnt my money or doing, if that makes any sense lmao but then I enjoy his art and craft.
