Love him! One of my highest moments on this earth was playing a solo in front of Fred and seeing video later of him smiling and diggin it. Grateful for FW!

An intergalactic tribunal of musical Cluelessness convenes its Funk Advisory Panel once a year. I want to congratulate you -- they have decided to award you a special prize. Your complete inability to honor the Funk and denigrate one of the funkiest geniuses to ever come down the pike was particularly striking. You do know that James Brown only called out two people to solo --- Maceo and Fred. He also played with Count Basie. Once again congrats.
