I hate ppl who can't see things objectively for themselves (that we are doing good for them) and instead had to be goaded by good emotion. This is why scam is a lucrative business. The scammers know how to sell feel good emotions to you to scam your money. Its ok if those "victims" don't mind losing their money n treat it as payment for the feel good emotional services. @@onemoregodrejected9369 diluc lacks social skills and ayato not so much and it because of their lifestyles. One is forced to be in front of people the other isnt. Ayato seems to be more outgoing too also he's much more open than Diluc. Diluc is in the constant state of grumpy. Most characters think about him in such way too. I think it's okay to compare Diluc to Al Haitham if you consider how both of them are perceived by others

Meanwhile I think both Ayato and Haitam would manipulate friends even of it is not in a bad way, like keep secrets or stay focused on a logical plan over drop their defenses? Compared to them, Diluc is still more kind in that sense

now this gives me an idea for interaction. imagine they get stuck somewhere like that underground thing with shinobu, xiao, and yelan, but this time it's just haitham and itto. i guess alhaitham will find a way somehow, but it's fun to imagine him poring over a method of escape, and while he starts to think there might actually be nothing they can do (a frown shows on his face and he starts to sweat), itto just brute forces his way through. if you've watched or read tower of god, it's like that one exam with the doors and khun overthinking it, then rak just kicks a random ass door down. while they're getting out, haitham is still dumbfounded, but as itto rolls over the ground to enjoy the sweet air and sunlight like the adorable little dumbass he is, haitham lets go of a breath he didn't know he was holding and just... laughs. itto thinks he's gone crazy and he vocalizes this, and he says haitham may be hungry which is why he's lost his mind (coupled with whatever he'd been doing in the cave or wtv). itto goes "yeah my brain hurts when i think of complex things and i get hungry almost immediately so let's roast some melons". before the incident haitham would not have accepted this offer, but now he finds an appropriate boulder to sit on and whips out his book as itto runs around looking for good lavender melons. for the first time in a while, though, haitham is not paying attention to his book, but to itto. take this; they both have pale hair (lol). i want them to be brothers now where itto is the stupid older brother and haitham is the smart younger brother who's always gotten them out of difficult situations except this one. their entire modern day life as bros just flashing in my mind rn like a movie tysm for the juice oh my god

With no natural resources to support their troops it was only natural they'd be forced to rely on the Fatui for provisions. My whole life I'm having fights with myself since my family indoctrinated me with their religious beliefs since I was young. But I've always had doubts somehow and it would always be written off as being unfaithful or sinful and advise me to purge myself of them. Still, they don't have that opinion of him because Alhaitham is part of the Academiya. They're smart and honest enough to be able to distinguish their feelings and opinions of the Akademiya and Alhaitham. Also, they don't think badly of him as you may have interpreted it (indicated by the emoji).

Al-haitham plays the roles Devil's advocate imo. That's why he always get backlashed.

It's not prejudice, Cyno is also affiliated w/the Academia. Plus it's not even like that, they don't dislike him, he's praised as intelligent & reliable, except his smarts can get in the way sometimes. Personally I like Tighnari's opinion of him best, basically sums up the way he is: rational sometimes to a fault. You can accept that part of him or not. He's personally not my cup of tea because of this, as he seems to take emotions out of his decisions. Makes me uncomfy that someone can almost always be in the right when they're thinking about a logical decision, whilst not thinking about the person themselves, BUT as Tighnari alluded to, it's not entirely a bad thing, it gets the job done.
