Thanks to you, I checked Rhongomyniad's effect and noticed that the mandatory "detaching Material" is a "Trigger Effect", not a "maintenance cost", so "Sales Ban" works on it. "Rhongomyniad" + "Sales Ban" combo is truly wicked.

One. I understand that towers is unaffected by other card effects, but confused as to why its active effect can’t be negated by an effect negating card. I know that probably sounds stupid but it just confuses me

@@shadexvii3975 because tower is unaffected by any spell or trap card at all, and all monster effect too, unless that monster lvl is same or more than tower it self, the way to get rid of Tower is beating it to death with big stick really, that tower only weakness, but to add cherry to the top, Tower lower all special summon monster atk by 500 But link monster effect can beat it now days because they don't have monster lvl I hear

@@shadexvii3975 basically, it can’t be negated because of “Unaffected Lol” effect. You CAN Solemn it as soon as it’s summoned, because there’s a SMALL window between SUMMONING and SUMMONED. So if the Summon is Negated, then it was never “Normal Summoned” and doesn’t have its protection, and is destroyed. It even prevents Monolith Draw effect if it was tributed. Only way to out it is by THAT, or with High Level negates or effects from Monsters like Baronne (Level 10), Herald of Ultimateness (Level 12), and such. Also Kaiju

It is a machine monster so Cyber Dragon have many outs: contact fuse into Fortress use as material for Jizukiru beat over it after using power bond into Rampage or Twin fusing into Cyber End Dragon if opponent is stupid enough to summon in wrong monster zone it can be equipped to Anima after using a Nachster, Herz, or Veiler to summon Anima.

@@zetsubowidz2287 Another semi-secret immunity in "unnaffected by other cards" is the fact their attacks cannot be stopped. I attacked for game with Mathmech Final Sigma one duel and my opponent used an attack negate effect. I thought "okay i'll just get em on the next turn." Final Sigma says, "I got plans after this! This ends now!" And ignored the negated attack and ripped into the opponent's monster and life points.

Darksymphony777 Let me tell you about how Ultimate Falcon / Exodia Incarnate / Five Headed Link Dragon God is different from Towers. The other cards are unaffected by all other card effects. Towers is unaffected by spells, traps, and “Activated” effects from monsters whose original level or rank is lower than this card. Destiny HERO - Plasma has two effects, one that is “Activated”, and one that is “Continuous”. It’s continuous effect is the one sided Skill Drain. It’s activated effect is the ability to snatch a monster and gain attack points. So with Towers fully negated, so is it’s immunity. For more examples of the difference between activated and continuous effects and their interactions, see Marshmellon and Awakening of the Sacred of Beasts. TLDR; Plasma still beats it, doesn’t matter when it is summoned. Towers isn’t Ultimate Falcon, never has, never will be. If Yu-Gi-Oh! Players read the fine print on their cards they should pursue being ace lawyers.

Also their effect immunity doesn't apply to Link Monsters so guys like Accescode and Knightmare Unicorn easily kick it aside. Hence they fell out of favor.

@@WeatherRein they still would've been tier 1. It would've just made running links mandatory against them. And even then if you played links you were going to run into trouble against them because like all tribute summon decks, they played 3 vanity and sometimes vanity fiend or the other with floodgates like skill drain and easily removing it when they needed it. They had to gut the pen mechanics to allow links to flourish and push the new product

since most of the meta decks runs in level 10 below boss monster so why not? i remember beating a despia player with these too

Depending on how difficult the deck mechanism.I took 1-2 week learning on qliphort.The deck itself its not too hard nor easy,but finding what to tribute gonna makes you thonk.

qliphort is easy to play. use scout and monolith as scales, pend summon helix and carrier then tribute those for stealth and towers. thats pretty much all there is to it.

Mostly around 3 days, with youtube help.

Winda didn't hack them. The Qlis went full scorched earth when they saw that Winda, an undead anomaly in their eyes, had God level power. The one that screwed them over in lore was Construct when an attempt to seal her backfired and she used her powers to overwrite Tower's OS and turned it into her throne A.K.A Shaddoll Shekinaga.

My interpretation of that part of the lore is that Qlis where a antivirus that was release after Winda touched the Naturia Sacred Tree and go full scorched earth after seeing the Shaddolls by capturing Winda and releasing the Infernoids (Void Launch) to destroy all as a form to restart everything. I go by the flavour text of Scout that first calls to "Sophia.exe" for instructions and after not having a callback goes to the second option that is "Tierra.exe" and using the Infernoid to attack the Shaddolls.

qliphorts are still broken as hell. cause towers is at 3 and qlimatechange gets you back your scales if they ever get destroyed. also the deck has like 5 ways to summon towers every turn.

@@uteriel282 They certainly still strong, especially the control variant, but since master rule 5, pendulum deck is not as busted anymore making Qliphort not as strong as before.

@@phucanghoang2676 for example, in cyberdark strategy is equip monsters, and are on the field so that includes that equipped monster? It's something like chimeratech fortress and megafleet, if you have "cyber dragon" on field you can summon them, and they don't need to be in the monster zone

@@isaac8187 an equipped monster is count as an equip spell card, so towers immune to them all.
