@@bauan98Wow, how do you know this greatest Chinese Muslim scholar ? Very few Chinese people know Liuzhi, even most of Chinese Muslim, I read part of his book, It's really deep thought,in his book he describe himself very lonely. Maybe we have some common topics brother.

@@yakoobma3053 well, I haven’t read his books yet but I know he is often called the “Chinese Imam Al Ghazali”. I also know he played a major role in shaping not just Chinese Muslim thought but also neo-Confucian thought.

Seriously, I wish the full lecture was uploaded or at least referenced [or where one can find it] rather than these little snippets. However, I am really grateful for these snippets because they are bite-sized chunks of information that leads a curious soul but please do reference it, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Subhan Allah....I was just reflecting about the parable that like we take treatment from doctors & not medical books or google, similarly we take hadith from Ullema who are “Rabbaniyon” & just after this I opened the You Tube & found this clip.

Okay so I'm left with three options.... Either study 30+ years to gain enough knowledge about islam. Or follow islam blindly. Or stay far away from the mess of different opinions.

Use your brain - muslims do not follow scholars - we dont need them!! Go learn how to read - eight grade level - the quran is a simple plain book - as Allah repeatedly tells us!!!!!!!!!!!

Following a scholar or any learned individual is a Quranic command. Follow them "blindly" but learn from their methodology. Question and discuss with them, not to be rude but to learn. Even when people read saheeh ahadeeth, most of us don't even know the biographies of Imam Bukhari or Muslim, biographies of their teachers, biographies of the people in chain of narration! In the same way at school, we're taught trigonometry and Pythagoras' theorem but hardly anyone knows how to prove these mathematical relations.
