@@meu02136ngl hated the game when it first came out then my dad started playing it (he hates any and every game that’s forced multiplayer, until this one) tried playing it so I could have a game to play with him. Then I dropped it due to the bias I built up to it. Recently got back into it and once you get past lvl 50 it’s actually really fun. The builds in it are amazing the bosses all of it. Anyhoo I’m not saying you’re wrong maybe you have played it recently and still hate it but there is the saying “everyone deserves a second chance” for a reason.

Once when I had 10 luck I found 4 fusion cores sitting in a single ammo box, so that was pretty cool Edit: I feel like I am cursed with finding 4 fusion cores in crates, this has happened once in almost all of my playthroughs, WHY DO I FIND SO MANY FUSION CORES (even with only 4-5 luck)

10 luck has the adverse effect of putting the minimal number of enemies in most encounters. There's a lot of encounters that just get straight neutered as well, with only corpses remaining. The exception seems to be dlc encounters and certain notable "ambush" locations. Some fixed location NPCs also seem to have a chance to "hold back." For example, the power armor raider on the bridge in Lexington doesn't use his Fatman.

And there's no problem with that, If the sole survivor didn't had any lore before the War, Nate was a soldier and makes sense he was instructed on combat and proper use of Power armors, but Nora was just a Lawyer, and it doesn't make sense how she survived through all that shit when as far as we know she never even touch a gun until she get out of the vault.

I've experimented with increasing all the stats to huge numbers to see how each one really effects gameplay and for the most part huge luck numbers just give you tons of critical hits.

Luck also affects quantity you find in containers and the cap collector and scrounger perks add to this. Cap collector even with 10 luck isn’t worth it but scrounger on the other hand oh boy

Best solution from me is to disable gun effects before launching, these fuck up the game no matter how strong your rig is. Also there is a mod that prevents certain objects from loading, as CE is loading all objects etc. at the same time, which may cause overloading on low-end PCs, hence, crashing every few minutes

Huh...it's almost as if it's operator error more than the game itself. I never had the game crash...the only difference in our playing would have to be the use of mods, which means either load order issues (in other words, operator error) or issues in the mod itself (another form of operator error), *not* a game issue.

The game can crash on its own, and if you don't think so you haven't played it that much or you've only played on a high end machine. Bethesda games, especially Fallout games, are finicky. Idk what to tell you. Everyone knows Bethesda games are shaky at best.

I'm playing a Lucky gunslinger ATM, and even with a 20 Luck, it STILL takes me about 10-15 mins to get my perfectly preserved pie from the vending machine. It is also very fun. I find ammo EVERYWHERE. Hey look its a med kit with 37 .50 cal in it. Look its a lunchbox packed with tatoes and 5.56..... I'm swimming in ammo, and use it to buy everything.

Do you have the perk to find more ammo in containers? Or just pure luck? I’d like to know bc I have to keep switching guns bc I don’t have ammo for the ones I wanna use. 😢

@@jfm674I have both, a really high luck and the scrounger perk. Most of the time I take up to level 3 of 4 in the scrounger perk on even non-luck builds. (Rank 4 sucks, don't take it)A single point in scrounger usually is enough for me until my late teens/early twenties. Then I'll take one more point, then maybe in my late 30's/early 40's I'll take the last one. Almost all of my builds have scrounger, but I never take Fortune Finder. Most of the time, my builds have a 2-3 luck to start with. What level/playstyle are you building towards?
