Just a tip from an experienced hair braider Make sure you pull as your braiding down to have a smoother braid! If it's too much tension on the head. Have the person hold the braid as your braiding down.

@@houseofdebijourn4513 Awwww...what do you mean, perhaps this was just a weekend hair do?...because this is braided into the hair...this style is meant to last anywhere from 1 week to at LEAST 1 month...My Granddaughter's is WAAAY over due...she's a tween and goin through some stuff I guess🙄😑🤨

I’m in the same boat momma teaching myself how to braid hair for my girls! You did an awesome job! I know we can get somebody else to do it but it’s the bonding time for me that I love and enjoy🫶🏽❤️! it brings back those memories when my mother, aunts and grandmother used to sit in the living room doing everyone’s hair!
