I've tried it and it's pretty cool. The downside is that you have to play close to the nut to apply it easier.

@@improvingguitarist1595 I think he's just bending the string by pressing it down before the nut I don't think you have to play the harmonic in any unusual place

@@Philrc actually, no he's playing artificial harmonics high up on the neck with his right hand while pushing on behind the nut to bend it with his left hand. The downside to this is that your left hand is now no longer free to play other things

@@improvingguitarist1595 that is what I said he's playing harmonics, natural harmonics actually, and bending the string behind the nut. What I found is that I can't get anything like the kind of loud Bend which he gets from that technique I don't know if it's his guitar or because it is being picked up by a microphone but I can't seem to get the same volume and bend.

@@Philrc what do you mean natural harmonics? The part where he bends the harmonics couldn't have been a natural harmonics. Anyway, maybe you can try to make sure you're pressing down on the sweet spot for clean harmonics. Make sure the area of contact of your finger and the string isn't too big. Not sure if this will help but do tell if it does :D
