@Wintercourse
@Wintercourse 2 жыл бұрын
People just do it half way though. They find a task that requires 2 hours of work. They find a really smart way to do it in 1 hour. Then management takes notice and starts giving them more work. The idea is to take the 2 hour task, then spread it out for 2 hours while doing 1 hour of work so that way you aren't stressing yourself, rushing, or overworking. Now you are working smarter, and not harder. It's not your job to take your idea of faster work and gift it to the company for no value. They gave you a task that they trained you on for 2 hours, it's going to take 2 hours unless I get some sort of benefit for doing it in 1 hour.

I mean I guess you would mistaken me for an eager beaver but you’d be wrong. I literally prefer being a cashier over working 12 hour shifts as a manufacturing technician. Me scanning groceries “fast” isn’t me trying to be a try hard. It’s just how I like to work. I like moving around at work to stay awake. I know the company don’t really care about me. I’m not there to make friends. I’m there to make money but at the same time I do value having spare time for other things so I like not having 12 hour shifts. I’m someone with social anxiety too so I decided I’d confront my fear and become a cashier. So far it’s working out great despite how much of a nervous wreck I was on my first week. Wether or not my coworkers appreciate my work habits is not my concern as long as I’m doing my job correctly. If someone doesn’t like my speed when I’m scanning groceries then they can kick rocks and move on to another lane because I ain’t slowing down for them. Ironically these very same coworkers will complain when the lines ain’t moving fast and they’re the customer. Kinda hypocritical.
@pattywilliams788
@pattywilliams788 2 жыл бұрын
@@chris7285 I totally understand. Doing your job well is admirable and I always prided myself on being a good employee and doing my job the best I knew how. They usually feel that they are better than their coworkers.

I worked at Wal-Mart on and off for 10 years. It's been 18 years since I worked there. I have a recurring dream that I forgot to quit. I had it again last night I woke up thinking "I don't want to go in today, I need to remember to just quit, I don't want to be there during Christmas".

This reminds me of why I got fired…😑 This specific kind of coworker always tried telling me how to do MY job that I was doing when we was in different departments and I’d been there the same amount of time. Like dude wtf? I got mad, called him out one day, roasted him and then I got fired for “being disrespectful”. The suck ups never get punished.

These ppl clocking my time on the bathroom. I took a 10 min break twice there and they are tripping. I was like I had to poop. They were like we don't get breaks. They knew I wasn't pooping. I was like this is definitely my last day. These ppl don't believe in lunch breaks, no type of breaks what-so-ever and you working 9 hour shifts. I'm good I'm going to take my break. I never ask to take my break because there's laws that's say we get breaks

I don’t get why people get so anal about this. They act as if their workload got significantly harder just because you were gone for a few minutes. Like b**** you’re moving your arms left and right scanning groceries inside a building with AC and you crying about me being 1-3 minutes late.

@@chris7285 🤣🤣🤣 OMG Thank You. The work load only got harder because whatever I don't do they will have to do when I quit after being employed for 3 days. On day one they were like no one stays, I have to work 10 days straight. I didn't think much of that statement until day 2 when they were stealing my tips. I was like ohhh this is why ppl don't stay. You work them to death. You get them to agree to give their tips away for 2 weeks before employment. I agreed to it because I didn't think it was a big deal but with all that work I was doing I was like I'm not having these ppl split my hard earned ass tips at the end of the shift. Here's the kicker these ppl don't give you sh. At least throw me $20 out of respect. I have had 3 days no tips during training and the lady would throw me $30.

I’m not the one who takes their job too serious but I’m the worker that gives bad advice Lmao swear this is me at work. When new employees come in, I give them the “pep talk”. I give them the good, bad, and the ugly. Then I tell them all the loop holes so they can get away with murder at work. I always end up persuading them and I finish it off with saying, “Work harder not smarter. The company don’t care about us, when we leave someone will replace us soon. They worry about themselves, as we should as well.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

For some they have to practice, the fact you can jump into different roles and characters based on what YOU'VE experienced personally, adds all the authenticity to it. Jamie foxx, Eddie Murphy, Jay pharaoh, Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle....all have the ability to create multiple personas...you can make a full movie if you decide based on the ppl you can create. Amazing Actor/Comedic Trait. Don't stop! 💯💪🏿🙏🏿
