MashaAllah, funny that this topic pops up today, my mother and I were about to pray Maghrib and had already planned Taraweeh together just now but then her period struck just as we were getting ready for Maghrib SubhanAllah we laughed it off and my mum was grateful it happened after Iftar 😂 Making duas for our Muslim sisters out there having to go through their cycles in Ramadan!

I got my period on the first 3 days of ramadhan and also the last 4 days of ramadhan and today it is 28th of ramadhan and I'm on my period.....I'm not at all frustrated after this in shaa allah

Your topics of choice are always on point Masha’Allah It’s so easy to feel like your ‘missing out’ especially during Laylat al Qadr. But we must always remind ourselves that if the cycle has begun, it is because Allah wanted it to be that way and we must not challenge it. It’s a gift reserved just for women 😊

Manshallah the only sheik who acknowledges women and always inlcudes us in the topics while other youtube sheiks pretty much pretend women dont exist in islam..im so happy he speak about this topic because i always miss 5 or 6 days each Ramadan and then i forget to make up then next Ramadan comes..subhanallah i don't know how many days of fasting i owe..if i cant make it all,how do i repay back? Can i give charity instead? May allah reward you mufti menk and your family🙏🏽

You should try and make up the fast as many as you remember. So calculate for all the years and start doing 2 fasts per month. This will make it easy for you. Do charity as well so that Allah forgives the delay in making up of fasts and in case you miss any of them.

I used to procrastinate paying back until months late, sometimes just in the nic of time before the next Rahmadan. It was always a struggle. Last year however, I decided I didn't want to struggle and carry the burden of unpaid fasts (that's what it felt like to me). So what did I do? After the Eid celebration (not more than 3 days after Eid) I began to pay back everything. All 13. This made me feel less burdened and I was able to do a few more for Shawaal too! And when this year's Ramadan came around, I had the comfort of knowing I wasn't owing anything. It was a fantastic feeling, insha Allah I'll continue this way. I hope you're able to figure out a coping system that works for you too🙂

It’s amazing to have a sheikh talk about this. Fsr, this is such a taboo subject that even my own mom barely talks to me about it UNLESS I ask first. We need to learn more and educate the younger sisters about these things. They are very normal and natural and have a religious side to them that we NEED to teach about. I never understood why this was SO TABOO. Most of the knowledge I got about periods came from my older brothers, funny enough (even though my mom gets angry when she finds out I even MENTIONED this to my brothers). The idea that men shouldn’t know or need to hear about Periods at all because that is shameful is really really bad. I feel like a man knowing about periods, pregnancy, birth, and all of those things is amazing as his knowledge can help his sister or wife or daughter in the future. For me personally, a man who is educated and willing to speak about these things is a much MUCH more respectable man than a man who has an attitude of “it’s a girls thing. Let them deal with it. I don’t wanna hear about it, it’s disgusting.”

It started coming towards then end of Ramadan! I started 2AM after Midnight so the early hours of Sunday/yesterday and In Sha Allah, Allah will accept all my good deeds I ever made in life and today and all my fasts I've ever made including this year's ones and all of yours too! Ameen! ❤️🤲🏽

I am happy that this is being discussed. I have been upset some Ramadans when my cycle comes. It just felt like something great was being taken away and I had to sit out and watch everyone else participate. You are so excited about Ramadan then your cycle comes and it saddens you. After my Dad talked to me once about how it’s not a bad thing. I now just make dua that the cycle comes at the beginning of Ramadan that way, I can get it over with and enjoy the rest of my Ramadan. PIus if my cycle is at the beginning of Ramadan then I can still participate in the last 10 nights to seek Lailtul-Qadr. So far the past three Ramadans, my cycle was at the beginning. I am sure we all wish that we could just not have one at all during the month of Ramadan. Allah knows best.

Always remember, it doesn't matter if your periods started in Ramadan! It's how a girls cycle is! Maybe we miss a few, like Miss a Month every few Months or years even if we were never and still isn't pregnant and hoping that we missed this whole Month so we can fast this whole Month, I'm talking about me actually! 😅 But anyways after Eid is over, we can still make up those fasts! In Sha Allah! Ameen! ❤️🤲🏽

Some Thikrs for sisters who are unable to pray: - Durood Shareef - 1st Kalimah - 3rd Kalimah - Allahumma Ajirnaa Minannaar - Astagfirullah Rabbi Min Kulli Thanbin Wa Atoobu llaihi - Astagfirullah - Sayyidul Istigfaar (Allahumma anta rabbee la ilaha illa ant, khalaqtanee wa-ana 'abduk, wa-ana 'alaa 'ahdika wawadika mas-tata'tu, a'oothu bika min sharri ma sanat, aboo-o laka bini'matika 'alyya , wa-aboo-o laka bithanbee, faghfir lee fa-innahu la yaghfiruth-thunooba illaa ant) - Tazallahu 'annaa Muhammadan 48 Maa Huwa Ahluhoo - Subhanallah Alhamdulillah La ilaaha illallah Allahuakbar - Subhanallahi Wabihamdihi Subhanallahil Atheem - Dua! Remember to keep the entire ummah in your du'aas for the fastest du'aa to be accepted is the one you make for another person inShAllah (Mishkaat) Theres no limit to any thikr however I strongly advise you try to pray each one at least 100x inShaAllah. One indicator that your ibaadah has been accepted is the constant flow of Astagfirullah from your tongue so try your best to repent as much possible. Remember, you are not disadvantaged in any way! You are still being rewarded for not fasting due to Allahs command for you provided you intended to fast. You can still reap your rewards through constant thikr and du'aa. Please remember us all in your du'aas.

Dont hate it! It's a means of struggling for Allah's sake and it is the means of you being able to have a child. There are some women who don't have periods and can't have children and they would give anything to just have a chance to have this gift that you hate. It isnt nice, but it is a blessing if we can just change our outlook. You get rewarded for what you fasted and you have an opportunity to make another fast outside of Ramadan - why are you upset?! Extra fasts are not a punishment, they are also a blessing!

@@ZM-et7zt i get lazy to pay back the missing days outside of ramadan (it 's somehow harder out of ramadan that's why). Also i almost gave up on fasting today knowing the period's gonna start. But you're right Insha'Allah i'll think positively of it and do my best Insha'Allah

Ofcource, what's complicated about a beautiful journey: religion. Though I ain't a Muslim, but I feel none of the religion teaches bad things, every thing is valuable, but in several ways. We might find many Islamic rules weird, or maybe hindu culture weird, but it doesn't mean its wrong or complicated, its SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! LOVE!. ❤

Alhamdulillah this year I fasted 28 days straight in this Ramadan and I asked Allah to allow me to fast the whole month and pray taraweeh and tahajud because I have never missed these Alhamdulillah and may Allah accept all our fast
