she is one of the few singers that i prefer to hear live than in her cds. gives me chills and goosebumps whenever she blows effortless thunderous and full bodied live long belts. her sustained f5s and g5s are the best you would ever hear live.

Regine doesn't need to use auto-tuner or a microphone that will totally improve the quality of her voice compare to other singers. Other singers rely on technology that make their voice sounds really great. Why Brian put her on top? It's because her talent is natural.

I am a lamb until the day I die and I know lambs hate Regine but I have to give credit when it is due. She did an amazing job singing this live, and she hit all the big notes LIVE. I love mariah probably more than any other female singer, but I have be honest and i know her voice and how she sings live, and I dont think mariah could have done this unless it was 1995. She has great live performances but not the best and we all know she is better on record, but lets be real. mariah couldnt have done this as well as regine. thats just my opinion and I love mariah and this song lol

regines voice is totally different from mariah so why the hell compare? regine has her own style of singing and she don't need to sing it like mariah. she's singing it in here own way and if you like to like mariahs way its your own opinion, every singer has their own way of singing songs, that's what we called owning a song or the simplest way to describe it is originality, if whitney will sing that song she will never copy mariahs version for sure, never underestimate regine she's a songbird nobody sings like her.
