In the first case this is what usually happens to the nice guy, he takes her out buys her meals they went to the beach, he introduced her to his family, but she prefered the bad guy who was giving her nothing only smashing. Because she found it difficult to break his heart she carried on with him. This is why guys nowadays just smash and dash assuming that nothing is meant to last and every body is in it to get what they want and just move on with no commitment.
