I feel your pain, I don't know why the dev's haven't looked into this. For that matter I wonder if they will ever fix it, I know I have found them up on the cliffs and into the tree line near the iceberg areas. They are much harder to find as they tend to not survive very long in those areas.

I am not sure if this is how they (Wild Card) meant for folks on single player to get Kairuku. But all the messages and tickets that have been submitted, seem to be ignored. They do spawn up on the cliffs near the icebergs and into the trees. Best way I found was to tame a male and female to have your own polymer farm.

I think for single player they may have changed the spawn points, I have found them up on the cliffs near the icebergs as well into the tree lines all along the north side of the snow biome.

You can find Kairuku up on the cliffs and near/in the tree line in the same area as the icebergs. If you can find a male and female, you could get your own polymer farm going. It is a bit harder to get them, as they get killed so fast by everything in the area, but that is where I found a pair.

I did not venture into the snow biome at the start of ASA, so I do not know. When I did go there, I assumed that like on an unofficial/official server they would be on the icebergs. Once I got there, I saw nothing. After numerous dino wipes, I still have not seen a single kariuku on the icebergs. I have only found them on the cliffs and in the trees. Not sure if this will ever be addressed for SP, as the concern appears to be on the servers. At least in my opinion.

I agree with you, since the biggest cash cow for them is servers, single player will be forgotten or the absolute last priority. They can be located up on the cliffs near the icebergs and into the trees. They do not survive long. Best thing to do is grab one with an argy, bring somewhere safe, tame it. then grab another of the opposite gender and then breed them for your own poly farm. It is so sad, that this is what folks on single player end up having to do.

True, one can find Kairuku on the cliffs and into the trees, just not where everyone is used to seeing them on servers and official, on the icebergs.

What I have found is that they are on the top of the cliffs and in the nearby woods all along the northwestern and northern part of the snow biome. At least that is where I have found them.

I really wish they (WildCard) would address this, I have reached out to them on their discord as well as their website. I have yet to receive any sort of response. Kairuku can be found up on the cliffs near the Iceberg range, they are also spawning up into the tree line. The only problem is that the Dire Wolves and other carnivores take them out so fast it can be hard to get enough poylmer from them. I ended up grabbing a male and female to tame for a polymer farm.

That is so not cool, I wish that Wild Card would fix the game for single player. Or even listen to any comments other than Nitrado crap. For Kairuku, I have found them one the cliffs and into the wooded areas all around the area for the icebergs. They don't last long with all the carnivores, so I ended up finding a breeding pair and going that route

I am not sure if they will ever fix it on Single Player, but to find them just head to the same area, but search on the cliffs and into the tree line. The carnivours seem to take them out quickly, but if you can manage to find a male and female then its a plus.

Thank you for your comment! I had heard that as well. It seems odd that this would only happen on single player, but it is/does happen. On a server that I play on, they spawn all over the icebergs. Here none at all. I have actually found quite a few in the area in the video, but the wolves and others desecrated them before I could get it on camera. I am not sure if time helps much, I thought I had sat in the area for quite a while and no results. I thought something with my game was messed up. Did I adjust some setting to make this happen? I have seen a few posts about the same thing so I am glad I am not the only one. I have also heard that in the patch (possibly tomorrow (12/08)) that there is a fix for them spawning on "one" iceberg. I guess I will wait and see if that fixes anything. Otherwise, I will go after a mating pair.

@@JoesGamingLegacy I was playing right now and I seen a lot right before you get to the ice biome but there was rex's there and yup ate them all didn't even get a chance and I found it odd because in game it was at night I've never seen so many at a time since I've been playing.

Thank you for your comments. I have reached out to Wild Card on their discord and on their web page several times, but I have not heard anything back. I do not know if this is intended or a design issue with single player. That being said, the Kairuku can be found in the same area as the icebergs, but up on the cliff tops and into the treeline. I have found many of them in the treeline, the downside is that they do not survive long up there. I ended up going in with a flyer to grab a male and female, so that I could have my own polymer farm. I would not try taming them there unless you clear out the area of anything that would come and kill them. As for what I did, I grabbed one brought it to the iceberg and tamed it there. I might have even tried taming one one the cliffs. Would be real handy to grab one that has a baby, that way where ever you drop it to tame it the baby has the potential to teleport to it. Could make getting a breeding pair that much easier. I hope that this helps.

I thought the same thing, or maybe that they were spawning under the mesh. After much searching I did find them, not where I was used to seeing them on the icebergs like on an official or unofficial server. For single player they appears to be up on the cliffs and into the tree line. Which can be more challenging as the Dire Wolves seem to take them out pretty fast.

Thank you for your comments! Are you playing on single player? What I have noticed that there are things that are different in single player versus anything else. The Kairuku do spawn, just not on the icebergs like we were all used to in ASE, instead they spawn up on the cliffs in and around the tree line from the NW edge of the snow all around the north side. It is a lot more of a pain to find and get them as now they spawn in spaces where the dire wolves and everything else that will kill them easily. So I ended up finding a breeding pair and tamed them so that I could have my own poly farm. I am not sure if these spawn point are what they intended for single player. It is frustrating and I do wish that they would fix it as well.

@@JoesGamingLegacy Yes I'm playing on single player. Fortunately I found a bunch, next to the icebergs up on the cliff, thankfully without hostile spawns. In ASA the spawns a bit wierd compared to evolved. I almost can't find jellyfish in the ocean, and there are loads of pelagornis next to the shores. Therezinos are (tickle chicken) also very overspawned in this game.

@@norbertszaki I completely agree with the spawns being all out of whack, the jellyfish are hard to find, they are not in big pods like on ASE, I have had to search quite a bit to find some, I just look for an area with a white light. Then I only find 1 maybe 2 there, the Caverns of lost faith have some in it (at least for me they did). Glad you found some kairuku.

I did go around all the icebergs and did not find any. Did a wild dino wipe and still nothing. So I am not really sure where their patch was intended to fix, but it does seem to affect single player at all. :(

I did the exact same thing lol. Nothing so what I did is tame the baby's I'll just breed them and do it that way.

That is what I am thinking about doing as well, not sure if that is how they intended it, but not sure if they will get it fixed. So for now just raise my own organic polymer farm.

While I am glad that I am not the only one having problems with them, I am also sorry that they are not working as hoped for. I will keep looking for more and more places to find them and post as well. I know that in this last patch, they commented on a fix for the spawn on one iceberg. I have since tried to find them, they are still not spawning on the icebergs for me.

I hope that you will be able to find them, I still have not seen them anywhere, but up on the cliffs and even buried in the trees near the cliffs.

luckily I found some more last night@@JoesGamingLegacy! I already had a female, tamed a male, forgot to save and the game crashed on my flight home! Thankfully I managed to find one again on the second effort so I have a breeding pair! Now to set up the breeding pen :)
