I really want JJ to debut in a different group in the next few years. He has so much talent and potential, he’s so sweet and soft spoken in interviews as well. He seems to really take care in the words he uses.

I really wanted Sangwon to debut, but he has left Hybe to start a modeling career. Sangwon supposedly started training at BigHit in 2016 which means that up until leaving, he had the longest training period out of any (undebuted) trainee at Hybe. He trained with both TXT and Enhypen. He has been mentioned by Taehyun in a vlive and went on vacation with Jay and Heeseung to Brunei. He said in one of the Trainee A videos that he was trying to not get his hopes up because he had been in disbanded projects before. I think after the attention Trainee A received pre-debut, their debut seemed almost inevitable, which makes the disbandment of the project even more heartbreaking for him. I think that is what made him finally leave the company. It's also compounded because I think he was very close with Leo from watching their videos. I would love to see him debut in another group, but I don't think he can experience any more heartbreak like this.

So many of us identified as Aeons, and were so excited to support their debut😢. I always had the impression that they were not supported properly by the company. They needed more guidance, and mentors. Why did the company release such controversial content? And young people will make mistakes, because you have to experience life to learn and grow. Trainees are in a little bubble, and don't get to have the same life experiences the rest of us take for granted. What a talented group of young men they are. I have been keeping my eyes open for any hopes of seeing them again. We know Yorch debuted, on his own, in Thailand. It breaks my heart to think Sangwon, and Woochan might give up their dreams of a career in entertainment. They are so young, still, and I pray they are just taking a break after such a stressful time. Especially Sangwon, after training so long. Someone needs to acknowledge his potential and scout him! I was ready to stan Trainee A with all my heart 😭 I loved their extreme chemistry and how they radiated confidence and naturalness even when talking in front of the camera. They were also very talented and synchronized when it came to dancing. 😭 I still want them to debut altogether, even of what's left of them now :((

I think that after Leo's departure, the mood within the team was probably just not the same, and they eventually decided to cancel the project as a result. We do not know what happened behind the scenes, but we know that Leo had struggled a lot towards the end, so it's not hard to imagine that the others struggled too. Add to it the pressure, your friend's departure etc., and you might just find yourself with a recipe for disbandment.

Update: abt a month after this video was posted, James was a backup dancer for JK during the live stages of "SEVEN". So he’s still in HYBE as a trainee.

They already developed the true friendship, if “Leo not in the group, then I will leave”, and one more thing about debuting trainee is that they need to be completely ready to be an idol so that they can truly make their debut.

JJ has so much potential, hismlack of debut would be a talent wasted. Tbbh it wouldn't surprise me if he ended up on Iland 2 or some other survival show in the near future. It's quite simple yet so hard for people to get; what happened behind the scenes of a label is obviously unknown to us. We do not even know what was the real reason behind Trainee A's disbandment. So to assume irrelevant things on our own is just ridiculous. Believe me, there's always a reason for everything. So I m pretty sure something must have happened and that's why Trainee A was dissolved.

I was following trainee a for awhile and I was really looking forward to their debut. I was mainly looking forward to Woochan because I remember when he was on SMTM6 when he was younger and he was really talented. I remeber watching the battle where it was Woochan and (I forgot the other persons name) vs won jae and Asol and when Asol said something about how woochan will be an Idol. And when Woochan was announced as a member of TraineeA I rewatched that video. I was also a fan of JJ because of his dancing skills. I am also kind of wondering how Jihoon and James are doing because they weren't mentioned in this video at all.

K-Pop fandoms can be EXTREMELY judgemental, it irks my soul. Most Idols spend their youth becoming what the fans want and often don't get opportunities to develop autonomy. Some fans think they own them, image and all. They are human, and humans are fallible

The expectation and unrealistic demands of perfection from the society towards idols, makes company to force the idols towards into unimaginable being along with the reviews and critics of public. i think it was good if they didnt debut right away because nowadays boy groups are popping up left and right and it would have been a lot difficult for them to cope up also the evaluation did affect their mental health which nowadays should be the first priority for everybody, If something is affecting your mental well-being then it is better to take a break from it .
