There are kids who start playing at age 15 and make the league. NBA is a lot about genetics.

@@BlackKingEnt nah, it's about these kids getting too much love too early and giving up. The Williams that's a genetic failure but most of them it's just they gave up. JJ barea was like 5'8", Dame is 6'3", there are so many average size 6 footers. It's about that drive. Look at Jaden Williams, she got so big weight wise.

I really appreciate that you chose to present these guys in a positive and uplifting way, highlighting the good things they're doing with their lives. Most people would have used this as an opportunity to kick them while they're down and say they're trash because they didn't have successful NBA careers. Life means so much more than that and we, as people who have never gotten anywhere near that level, are way too comfortable calling people like this "trash" or "washed"

In my opinion, Going in a European Club is the best choice. Here in Europe, discipline is the first thing you learn. You play something different than what your coach has called, you are benched. You raised your voice on the coach, you are out for some games. You also learn how to dribble properly without carrying, always pass first, always follow your captains calls. Playing against grown men is also a big advantage because you get mentally ready.

 @Black King Entertainment Good point with facts. Things like wingspan, hand-size, and quick twitch muscle can also be important. There are small differences that make a huge impact, but then there's also an elite level of skill and IQ that allows people like Chris Paul and Derek Fisher to play many years. At the same time though, a lot of these guys are super athletic and making the adjustment to "knowing your role" can be difficult for former stars.

@@zeebee3606 sure if your name is lebron James. Plenty of research on injuries and burnout for players of a single sport vs multi-sport athletes. Maybe tennis gymnastics or figure skating benefit from the single sport approach - team sports ehhh not so much. There is a lot of pressure to join travel teams and all that garbage but only the most talented can do that and still get to the next level. Bottom line,Most people can’t maximize talent and/or athletic ceiling by simply playing a single sport. Not sure what you’re talking about.
@zeebee3606

@Mahidhar Reddy maybe u no understanding the English? Ur right that there's injuries with direct correlation to sport specific overuse.... but thats got nothin to do with "how someone can reach their physical prime at 14".... aka why do some guys have hair on they nutz while their teammate is still playin with GI Joe. Sabe or no sabe??
@drmahidhar1876
@drmahidhar1876 Жыл бұрын
@@zeebee3606 not just injuries people burn out and get bored and lose interest in putting in the work. This usually happens around age 12. Most D1 football coaches like athletes who play 2-3 sports other than football. You can only get so good at s sport by just playing it (playing is very important of course ). But stuff you do around in like strength training speed strength power whatever you want to call it. Along with that playing multiple sports helps to prevent burnout and prevent someone from hitting their peak. The goal is to peak when someone is 25 or so as opposed to 14. The main issue is giving up due to losing interest
