Although #parrots, parakeets, and #macaws are well distributed throughout most of Central and South America, in #Peru you can find them among the 3 regions: the coast, the Andes, and the rainforest.
In the #TambopataNationalReserve, southeast of Peru you can find 20 from 49 species listed in Peru including the 3 most colorful macaws :
1.Red and green macaws
2.Scarlet Macaws
3.Blue and yellow macaws
And one of the most wanted by birdwatchers due to infrequent observation, the Blue-headed macaw.
Many of them can be observed during the excursion to the macaw clay lick
However, if you are a parrot lover, then you can increase your sighting opportunities by staying at the Tambopata Research Center, a macaw natural heaven, the only #eco-lodge inside the Tambopata National Reserve, which is located next to the Colorado clay lick, a place that put Tambopata in the eyes of the world when the macaws of the area were cover of the National Geographic magazine in 1994

Aunque los loros, periquitos y guacamayos están bien distribuidos en la mayor parte de América Central y del Sur, en el Perú se pueden encontrar entre las 3 regiones: la costa, los Andes y la selva tropical.
En la #TambopataNationalReserve, al sureste de Perú se pueden encontrar 20 de las 49 especies listadas en Perú, incluidas las 3 guacamayas más coloridas:
1.Guacamayos rojos y verdes
2.Guacamayos escarlata
3.Guacamayos azules y amarillos
Y uno de los más buscados por los observadores de aves debido a la observación poco frecuente, el guacamayo de cabeza azul.
Muchos de ellos se pueden observar durante la excursión a la collpa de guacamayos.
Sin embargo, si eres un amante de los loros, puedes aumentar tus oportunidades de avistamiento alojándote en el Tambopata Research Center, un paraíso natural de guacamayos, el único albergue ecológico dentro de la Reserva Nacional Tambopata, que se encuentra junto a la collpa Colorado, un lugar que puso a Tambopata en los ojos del mundo cuando los guacamayos de la zona fueron portada de la revista National Geographic en 1994.
