Ever wondered how to find every single color for each LEGO Spaceman? Well here you go.

would've been cool if you actually told every location... For example the Helmets aren't classic. Blue for Benny comes in the 71708 NinjaGo Gamer's Market Set. Green comes in the new 80054 Megapolis City. Black in either the 43179 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse OR 71460 Mr. Oz's Spacebus Purple also comes in the 40608 Halloween Fun VIP Add-On Pack. Gray has no match so far but 31130 Sunken Treasure Mission has one in Dark Gray. Also Benny's Torso has a print that looks weathered. For a clean one you'll need a Vintage Minifigure Collection Vol. 4 (2009/2012)

@@SHYTIMEismyTIME Oh! I didn't know that! I started collecting the new ones but it's sad that they come in so many different places. I just hope LEGO releases some colors again like blue, black and green because the Sets they came in are pretty rare.

I had the original blue spaceman when I was a kid but it was given away inside a whole bin of lego. I had spent hours rebuilding lego figures and keeping them and didn't take the original blue spaceman from it. I did rebuild a rare starwars lego figure for my friend who collects starwars lego sets and figures. He absolutely loved all the starwars Lego figures I put together and all the starwars parts I could find for him too.

When the Lego movie came out, I didn't get any sets with Benny in. But luckily, I already owned a classic blue spaceman with a broken helmet, so I guess you could say my spaceman was more accurate to the movie than the official Benny one! 😂

Fun fact: there is actually a baby pink spaceman if you go to the legoland California and open a chest in your hotel room you get a mini figure bag that gives a fig with it

I managed to get Benny’s Space Squad on clearance at Walmart sometime after the second movie came out. It’s the only set from the movies that I own and I had totally forgotten about it until years later when I got the new Galaxy Explorer. It was wonderful to build that ship and then realize that I also had Benny and the pink astronaut to add to the crew.

*good luck* 😅 Honestly, I think the alien and rocket boy look great just by themselves! It also makes everything feel visually more diverse, and I like the idea of aliens also participating in the Space exploration, and maybe a kid who dreams of doing so but is always told to stay in the base. Also, also, may I suggest using the Blacktron minifigures, either classic, from the 2018 Christmas gift or the Blacktron Cruiser from last year? That might be easier to find (😅), and adds to the variety!

You can get a proper green helmet in the monkie kid megalopolis and a proper blue helmet in gamers market. You can also get a proper blue uniform in a classic mini figure pack. Unfortunately the black one you can make isn’t the best since the print is in the wrong place. I would just wait until lego releases the proper parts and bricklink them all. If you plan to use the everyone is awesome set to display the spacemen i would also recommend changing the colors around to reflect the release order of each color spaceman in this order from left to right. Red, White, Yellow, Black, Blue, Green, Gray(replacing the light blue), Pink, Orange, Purple, and Brown.

Just wanted to add, I really hope they don’t make any more classic space colors. As it is now we have all the distinct colors in lego’s rainbow. Any more would just be subdivision.

Here is what you do, first you can get every color of the headpiece, then just get the torso, it should be cheaper getting that then just get the arms and legs.

The lore goes deeper. For the new helmet molds with the thicker chin strap, green was just made available this year (2024) and should be available for collectors soon. The gray classic helmet exists too in the original mold for the helmet but in the old light grey as opposed to the light bluish grey that the torso is molded on, they made a dark bluish grey in the new mold but have no torso or air tank to match it. A blue new molded helmet also exists, in a ninjago dojo set. Unfortunately there is no way to make all the minifigures with matching molds for the helmets staying consistent with the color of the bodies

I could have purchased the 2 helmets.. but I had already spent a bunch for to obtain all the figs and parts.. so I settled for the classic helmets. It does the trick regardless.

I mean that is fine to think. While the inclusion of hair does somewhat allow for more diversity, the lego classic spaceman is iconic, and would have really given it that Lego feel, and less like a piece of minimalist artwork.

You can get a regular blue spaceman by taking the torso and airtanks from a vintage minifigure collection blue spaceman and the helmet from one of the digi empire ninjago sets. Black space helmets have also been released in sets such as the mickey and minnie statues, and if you want to you can get a gray space helmet from one of the early castle minifigs
