I love when BFDI just becomes ingrained into internet culture and nobody realizes until it's too late... I see so many people confused about why there's a fanbase for this or why it's even popular and none of them realize just how influential and important it is. Some object show creators work on BIG things like cartoons on Netflix and CN now.

When I saw the mouth I immediately thought of BFDI. I am glad a KZfaqr like this is finally talking about the BfDI series, finally the wider internet is catching up to this. The newer seasons of BFDI, BFB and TPOT, don’t really use the original BFDI mouth clip art as much it seems like, although variants of it seem to be still existent.

i remember the reason being that drawing the mouths on the spot was faster to animate and easier to express emotions with in BFB. the rest is history. i love how the writing evolved into what it looks like today. even though i'm still sad to this day for what happened to BFDIA and IDFB. didn't know it was because of the AdSense being lost though.

@@Wilker_uwu Yeah that makes sense. Not going to lie, I would not mind if BFDIA and or IDFB suddenly came back. (even though they are technically over) BFDIA 6 could in theory be released and not much change, although that is only in theory. I doubt BFDIA or IDFB will continue of course.

one of my friends from my church watched alot of these bfdi videos for 6 years and i always wondered why is it fun to watch, until i started watching it after the pandemic happened. it was great, and the webseries had really great characters, cool scenes, and also funny jokes. but the on i appreciate is the people who worked each other on making this. it is amazing that this underrated 13 years old webseries had introduced by the public eye, because the webseries wasn't big for a long tjme until maybe now.

This is a great video that explains the origins of this iconic asset that also functions as a tribute to this amazing show. Nice work! I myself feel like adding a piece of somewhat obscure history to this mouth that further explains its origins (kinda) now when I have the chance. It's from the twins' first ever animation, one for a school project back in 2007 called "I Can Make a Difference!" that was the first ever use of the mouth asset... kinda. See, it's probably the exact same for the mouth with closed teeth but not for the open mouth since in BFDI, it was slightly modified to include shading had the mouth moved to the side

One day as a 10 year old, i was using an editing app and searched ice cube & saw an ice cube png. I thought it was just a random ice cube. 1 yr later at 11, i joined the osc. First Object show i watched was BFB & saw the same ice cube. Got a mini heart attack as a small sensitive child

I never thought of BFDI when I first saw the mouth clipart back in 2013. I remember using Adobe Animate, and these were the assets I used when I animated first. I never got good at it, and eventually quit in 2015. I still have the .fla files.
