And everything he talks about just feels like déjà vu. Like I can just click together and say oh wait a minute that makes total sense. Most people just ignore what he’s talking about but it’s it’s it’s the menu details that people forget. Most people that are on the spectrum like me something like this if you didn’t watch people walking down the street you would probably just walk in the street. Common sense is not born with you.

17:15 LMAO whenever I go on walks, I find it satisfying to step on an even amount of sidewalk cracks for each foot whenever I'm bored. Unconsciously, I'm like "wait, my left foot feels normal, like it hasn't stepped on something uneven. there's a crack up ahead... but will my foot reach it without breaking the consistency of my stride?" 😂😂😂

There are ghosts in the cracks. And triangles are a lot of fun! Many things can form triangles out there on the road. Also there are storm drains, too. They are a bummer as there's always an incline around them. They form like a big sections of no-nos. Also you can avoid some red zones by putting your foot correctly. :)

There's an episode of Doctor Who where they meet Van Gough, and there's a scene where The Doctor and Amy are lying on the grass with him looking at the stars (like that one scene in the Lion King where Simba, Timon, and Pumba are looking at the stars), and somehow The Doctor and Amy see the world the way Van Gough sees it, all swirly and stuff. This is our glimpse into how Peter sees the world.

This is not only the most comprehensive and clearly-illustrated line-avoidance guide I have yet seen in my time(s) as a time traveller, it is also excellent life advice, I think. Sometimes you can't avoid all the cracks, for to do so would be to "punish yourself" unnecessarily, and sometimes the obstacles are not evenly placed. Sometimes there are no lines in sight, other times you may find yourself on a checkered floor at a manhole cover factory. Sometimes it is good to step back and decide what even counts as a line in the first place. But with all that said, if you stay focused and plan out the next step, you'll make it through. Thanks for the vid Peter, very inspiring.

This is all correct and you were very right in wearing your safety glasses. This gets difficult and exhilarating when you're a passenger in a car and you have to "jump" over the lines created by things, especially the road markers post things with reflective cats eye circles on them. I've been jumping over them for over 30 years (just with my toes, toe jumps are acceptable). I'd rather enjoy seeing a diagram on this from the perspective of a passenger in a moving vehicle. Unless that's weird and outrageous?

The clue is in the name, 'speed' bumps. This isn't one for everyone, I'd certainly consider an alternative route. You can't walk over a speed bump. Consider it an obstacle that you have to tackle at speed and with a suitable run up you should be able to leap clean across.

How would you navigate a full sidewalk? Do the tire no step zones extend onto the sidewalk? You may want to revisit this topic and cover the implications of navigating the full sidewalk... Do trees impact no step spaces? What about shrubs? Features of each home's landscaping? If it is a business area do the doorway boundaries of stores extend into the sidewalk? What about passing outdoor displays? Or little outdoor seating arrangements? Or perhaps there are absolutely no rules for full sidewalk walking? Total chaos. No puzzling. No fun.

You must always keep in mind to protect and watch after your calf / leg / pants against an extruding bended license plate. A scratch or even worse, an injurie is lurking there.. if you will ever make a part 2 of this ingenious video i think this should make the cut. Happy greetings from Greece Peter :)

Omg, Peter you actually just explained my OCD perfectly!!! My brain extends imaginary lines from other lines or edges or objects along the floor that I “can’t” step on or else something “bad” will happen. If I do step on one of those places, then I need to do one of my compulsions to “undo” the mistake I made. The more stressed out I am, the more lines my brain draws and the farther it draws them. At my worst, when I am really stressed out, there is no place to step at all, and I have to stand or sit where I am until I calm down enough that my brain deletes some of the lines. This is literally insane how accurate this was for me even though you were probably just doing it for artistic purposes. Is it possible that you have the same or similar problem and this is what inspired you to draw this diagram? Or was it just a coincidence? And for the manhole cover/triangle question, the lines continue on their own for me lol When close friends or family or my therapist have asked what is going on in my head, it’s always difficult for me to explain. Now I can just show them this video!

Dearest Peter, I had to interupt your "Where NOT To Put Your Feet When Walking" video @ 18:41.Because I had just woken up and nature was calling. So then I thought why NOT just comment now and watch the rest later? So many things were already buzzing through my head when I think about walking. (What is walking when you can fly, was one of them). *Clears head for next paragraphs because this is another one of "When Adu does NOT stop commenting", comments.* So your very detailed video was left on my Android. I so wanted to try and go back to sleep. (Day dleeper here, that randomly turns onto her KZfaq when she wakes up to go to the loo). Sooooo, then I could NOT go back to sleep, as I contemplated your drawing for visual learners as I am one. As I tried so hard to sleep again, my rabbit trail mind started drawing her own diagram(s) and I went through all kind of scenarios for a night time walker, (I am also part vampire), person who lives it the sticks, (H.E.L.P!) Soooo, because of the very different obsticals for foot placement during her walk, I had to shift gears. But I promise you, my drawing in my head became quite an interesting video? And becsuse I am half Sicilian, I would fear for any living thing that I encountered on said walk through the hilly, pot-holed, lots of sticks counrty street I would walk on. Hence, flying would be more appropriate, as I said above? Sooooo, AGAIN as I was thinking on this, and NOT going back to sleep, my day dream switched gears to - "Why not roller skate, instead of fly?" On that gear, my mind visuals changed, and I was skating quite joypusly on the very large church parking lot!? Obsticals crushed as I derby style skated. Then oh, what fun that scenario was! In addition after that gear, my rabbit trail mind hopped another walking alternative. For this I would have to drive the 3 miles to downtown AFTER midnight, when NOTHING is open. Albeit, here they do have sidewalks downtown. However, I would prefer to walk down the middle of the somewhat slopping six lane highway. In this scenario my mind wandered down the middle of the main downrown highway, it would seem like a ghoat town I assure you. Quiet and simewhat eerie. So then my day dream here was interupted by the obsticle (sort of), of what I would say to a police officer as they do patrole our hick town at night. I do know this for a fact, DO NOT ask why, lol. So now my rabbit trail mind is going VROOOOOM, because I see the police cars flashing lights making colored shadows in front of my waljing feet, A sly grin was forming in real life and I truly laughed aloud here in bed, as I got my sinister "comedy, try to talk seriouz actress hat on". This was even MORE fun! Then my rabbit hopping mind that could NOT go back to sleep, started the creation mode gear. Ha!! Which Peter, you talked about in another video not too long ago? My creation mode urge mind has a strorage room filled with cabinate storage bins in my brain. True, hence why people always say I am very creative (I recluse in real life because I am NOT for sale in creation genres of many sorts). So in this room of cabinets there does contain some drawers of drawing, digital, and 3Dish app tools. By the way, that cabinet room is extremely large and the rummaging is super duper more fun than the previous walking, skating, and acting "subcategories" my mind has going through before writing this to your comment section, on my very small android keyboard? Sooooo, I bid you fair "Adu", as nature must take over again (breakfast, another trip to the loo etc. etc.) THEN, I get to real life plan those creations.
