Lessons series could be a good one. Have to see about convincing a coach to put all their secrets online for everyone to get for free .. we’ll see if anyone bites. lol Breaking 80 series also good. That might even tie into the course management series. I think those 2 will go hand in hand so I’ll start doing that! Thanks for the suggestions! As far as starting your channel.. I say start with what you have for now.. like filming on your phone with a tripod and make sure this is something you’re going to stick to before investing in expensive camera gear. But a good starter camera to look at is the Sony a6700.

@@quaypotts Thanks Quay. I do have a Canon R10 and a tripod with a 24mm lens. Also have a 35mm. I guess what you’re saying to me is “just get out there, Bruh.” LOL. It’s still cold here on the East Coast. I’ll get out there soon enough. Good point on the lessons - I didn’t think about that. But, they may want the exposure your channel brings, which could bring them more students especially if they are social media savvy. I’ve seen a number of people go to GOLFTEC - they seem to let you record your lessons. May be a good opportunity for an affiliate thing. If you have a simulator, you can record sessions at home too.

Yeah man.. you just gotta get out there and do it. Going to feel weird doing it at first, especially if you get paired with randoms .. but people are usually cool about it lol And someone recommended golf tech to me once.. I’ll have to look into that And yeah man I want a bad!! Maybe at some point in the future. Especially if this channel continues to grow.

Pebble is going to be an incredible experience! That’s what up man! As far as how to shoot some videos. I would just go with a phone and a tripod to make it the most simple. It’s very tough filming yourself on the course .. but a phone and a simple tripod would be great. Or look into the iRange tripod specifically made for golfers. Also when filming and setting up your composition.. try not to record from directly behind you. Go off at a little bit of an angle so you can see some of the golfers front side and get the hole/fairway the shot as well. That angle I found looks the best.

Thanks for the advice! Would be great if you can do a series on how non pros can go about filming themselves on course and then do some post production stuff without breaking the bank.

This is a loaded question lol.. but I say the best way to start is with your camera phone and a tripod. Unless you already have a nice camera. Once you get to a point where you’re ready to buy camera gear there’s a ton of options out there and I can help you sort through it all and pick something good to start with

It’s probably more expensive here than Hong Kong for sure. If it’s anything like Thailand, it was a lot cheaper to golf there than in the states.

Definitely will throw you in to beta test the graphics! 🙏🏾 As fast as shooting log with the R5.. you have to find out what the native iso is for video in that camera shooting in log, maybe as simple as that. In my Sony camera it has dual base ISO which is 640 and 12800. So if say step 1 is figuring that out. Let me know if that does the trick.
