The structure of Turkish society is actually changing in a positive way in terms of secularism. Only the current government is not acting secularly but no need to feel hopeless things are gonna have to change because many turkish people demand for the change

Yes but during elections of a new president, coorrupting people with some pasta or biscuits is enough to convince them voting the same politicians...and they complain about turkey's economy and its future...

10 Yıl önce 2011di ve bu zamandan çok daha iyi günlerdi. Siyaset yine gündemdi ancak kafamıza bugünkü kadar takılmıyordu. 10 yıl sonrasını bugün inşaa ediyoruz. Ben ne olacağını söyleyeyim Türkiye'deki paranın değersizleşmesinden sonra ucuz işçi niyetiyle avrupadan para çekmeye çalışacaklar. İnsanımız daha da fakirleşecek. Demografik olarak bugün gelen mülteciler artık yerleşmiş olacak ülkenin bazı kesimlerinde yüksek nüfuslara sahip olacak. Bugün çözemediğimiz her sorun 10 yıl sonra önümüze çok daha büyümüş bir şekilde çıkacak.

It's such a tragedy that people are afraid to speak. They answer halfheartedly and point something common like economy. It's blatantly the regime itself and the government-led problems not the economy! Economy is a result!

I can't agree that it is unstable "in every aspects". Ok, the lira is unstable (almost like russian ruble, btw), but what else is unstable in Turkey? Turkish people love their country and this is the most important.

Only economy is unstable these days. tho, there’s no economic crisis in turkey but politic crisis. 3-5 people sitting on the seats are creating man-made artificial devaluation in order to fill their pockets. Because there’s already no way to explain liras situation with any natural economical theory. You don’t need to know about micro macro economics to see that. In the economic crisis anyone loses but what’s happening now rich getting richer , others are getting poorer in the aspect of purchase power. Apart from this dollar is already lost much value after Biden, even a 3rd world country’s currency gained value against it. Why not lira? Because rulers don’t want it. They kept their groom as economy minister for years which is the sign of nepotism. As soon as he resigned in hours later healing started even. So a free seat worked more than those people.

You said that inşallah means "if God wills". Maybe this is wrong, but "God willing" sounds better in English.

Great topic for a video. I salute you. I liked most of the responses and I wish Turkey all the best! @3:29 - This is the worst kind of youth! And I'm speaking from the experience of my own country's large economical emmigration. He's the kind of young person who has no love for his country and no ambition to make it better. He treats his country as if it just was a hotel, and he wil leave to any other hotel that he will be jealous of. People like him contribute nothing good to society, they only bring everybody down with their pessimism and cynicism. Your country will never get better, if YOU don't make it better.

Pretty frequently actually. Most of the time it means something along the lines of '' i mean'' but not completely the same. Meaning changes according to the context. For example sometimes it means "kind of". Thats why you heard it a lot.

Rahatlık düşmanımız zaten hiç merak etmeyin. Ömrümün en güzel yıllarını anksiyete ve depresyonla geçiriyorum. Geleceğe dair gram umudum yok. Hukuk okuyorum, ders çalışmak kitaplar midemi bulandırıyor, sinirimi bozuyor. Hiçbiri mevcut durumu yansıtmıyor maalesef. Toplum ne hukuka ne insan haklarına ne adalete sahip çıkıyor. Hepsini ve dahası refahı ve ekonomiyi bir kişinin eline bırakıyor. Hiçbirimizin adım atma adil olma cesareti yok. Niye kalalım, kalmayı her şeyden çok istiyorum. Gerçekten bu ülkeyi seviyorum ama bu hayatı da bir kere yaşıyorum ve ruh sağlığım kalmadı. 2023'te mezun olucam. Eğer bu seçimde de gitmezlerse, maalesef ben gitmeyi düşünüyorum. Bu bir kaçış değil, çünkü ben adilce ve cesurca yaşamaya devam ederim. Sadece huzur istiyorum o kadar.

@@claray1724 Ben de 19 yaşındayım. Yaklaşık 4 yıldır depresyon, anksiyete ve panik ataklarla mücadele ediyorum. Son 1 senede daha da kötüleştim ve artık fenalık geçirmeye, bayılmaya falan başladım. Neyse ki şu an daha iyiyim ilaçlar sayesinde. İstediğim gibi yaşamak istiyorum. Ama yönelimim buna engel. Aslında yönelimim değil ülke şartları engel ama her neyse. Nerede mutlu olacaksam orada olmak istiyorum. Tabii Türkiye'de ne kadar mümkün bilmiyorum.

@@pogaca6083 öncelikle çok geçmiş olsun. Psikolojik rahatsızlıkların kişiyi ne kadar güçsüz hissetirdiğini yaşayan biri olarak çok iyi biliyorum. Daha iyi olmana çok sevindim. Yöneliminden dolayı yaşadığın zorlukları ancak hayal edebiliyorum. İnşallah seni anlayan ve kabul eden sevdiğin birileri vardır. Umarım kendini özgürce ifade ettiğin, huzurlu ortamına kavuşursun. Dediğin gibi bu ülkede insanların anlaması, kabul etmesi zor. Bizim kuşağımız, şükürler olsun ki, cinsel yönelimlere çok daha sağlıklı bir perspektiften bakıyor. Küçük şehirlerde olmasa da büyük şehirlerde kendin olabileceğin pek çok ortam var. Okuyor musun, ya da hangi şartlarda yaşıyorsun bilmiyorum ama imkanın varsa büyük şehirde güzel bir üniversite kazan. Bu sana pek çok kapı ve istediğin gibi bir çevre sağlayacaktır. Sana sanal olarak sevgilerimi iletiyorum ve sarılıyorum. Seni tanımasam da yalnız olmadığını azınlık da olsa da sana saygı duyan ve destekleyen biri olduğunu bilmeni isterim.

@Auror Kerqelii No, it is about lack of education quality. English is an international language now (due to colonism yes but it became a must for even non-colonized countries) but our education fully focuses on grammar not daily use so most Turks are actually afraid to speak English. I dont think I can speak either tbh
