Ben really does belong up north. Centered around Benton's return home in the COTW pt. 2. Song: Where I Belong by Bryan Adams

As an Aussie, I appreciate the sly humour that took the piss out if the yanks. Poking fun at them in so many different and subtle ways, many of which probably went right over their heads. Our Country side and our animals may be different. But we both live in a land that has massive areas of total wilderness (Canada is indeed bigger, but Australia isn’t exactly small either). Whilst you will freeze up north, at least we can drive everywhere (as long as you have enough water, as that’s even more important that fuel), even though you will feel like your in hell due to the heat😱🥵. I loved this show, and it ended way to early, as if still had more stories to tell, yes it was wrapped up, but it was wrapped up quickly, far too quickly. Well at least we had that, and we weren’t left completely hanging.

This video brought tears to my eyes, not only because the clips and lyrics were well matched but because it's always so sad when such an excellent show ends. *sniff*

They did such a wonderful job on the last episode of this series. So many loose ends tied up. It was beautiful.

"Due South" was a show that didn't have a statement, make fun of morals, values or ethics. It was a show that produced and set quality ethics, morals and values. That is why it didn't last so long. After forty years of sitcoms devaluing and retarding ethics and morals, people didn't understand this show, and shows like it. The same with early "Early Edition."

@@NeilColl : I have a bit of the Blarney blood meself! I never you. I gave up cablec in 1985 & TV in 2009. Shortly after, the internet paysites attacked youtube, etc for copywriters infringement. So did they for sites like Pirate Bay on the darkweb. So I went to the library and it is barely sufficient....until covid killed the DVD budget

It was such a joy to never notice that this show had a immaculately dressed man fall 200 feet into a snowfield...and come up without a scratch on him, or a thread out of place on his uniform. ... ...decades after that schtick was exposed. What a great show!

This actor looked so damn good! I loved watching this show and just realized why. This character took life at the moment. The past moment is in the past; the future moment is in the future; to even think of either is to lessen the fullness; live the fullest in the moment. He did each moment without judgement. And accepted it for what it is, and for what it could be, and strived to make both reality. Wish I could be like that.

Best combination of film that I've seen in ages where someone would call this dropped into adversity it is where he is at home, the place he knows inside out....well done :) I've watched this at least 100 times

I watch due south the repeats in the early hours of the morning on True Entertainment channel in the UK . I remember seeing the 1st episode I was hooked cause of Paul Gross and Dief the dog even though there where many dogs that played Dief.

To each their own I believe. I too miss this show, I wish there had been more episodes. I was watching on youtube a clip that stated they got pushed out by "Friends" the TV Series T_T i HATE that series and to think it kicked Due South out of its stop *cries* Ah, well I am just glad it ended in a good way and not a cliffhanger like some shows.
